- born in inverness brought up in new elgin and proud to be a free stater. went to elgin caddie, it was ok. left school and drifted fae job to job until i became a psychiatric nurse, worked at Dr grays ward 4 until i emmigrated to canda. god i love it here definitely a much better wayof life, but i do miss scotland, my family my bairns that are stil oer there. miss my amtes and a decent pint instead o the piss water they have here its so expensive to get drunk. i miss aberlour pub, fishing they spey. going tae motorbike rallies but i dinna miss the high interest rate price o hooses high taxes and being governed by the english. ive been wee my wife sheila for 15 years and love every minute o it. ive got 3 kids ( thats a i ken o anyway lol) mandy and paul are still in scotland and wee dave is here wee us.

Hey!
Yeah, we paid part deposit yesterday on a place. Bang in the city centre, 2 bedrooms, big spacious bugger of a thing and it's got a pool and got it quite cheap. Aberdeen prices kinda...maybe slightly more but nit bad! Just have to transfer money from home to my oz account which will take a few days to pay the rest of the deposit. Once that is done, we should be able to move in straight away. So will start the job hunt pretty soon. Desperately need to aswell!
Well the ozzies are hot for me. I'm not allowed to marry one (my mums strict instructions, she doesn't like their accents
) And as for the kids thing, I'm going for the opposite of you! SO MAYBE WHEN I'M 60! Is your email .net or .com? Can you private mail me your address and grannys? Oh i forgot to give you that manitou thing when you were over. Oh well, maybe in another 2 years! x

Back in Sydney. Concentrating on finding a pad first. Sick of living in hostels & hotels although last night we went for a midnight swim on the rooftop of our hotel. Was pretty cool but pretty cold too. WIll make an attempt for work when we have pad.
Tell Granda that no matter how long he spends at the river fishing, there is no better fish than Granny. x -

Well seen the Kangaroos at the Zoo but not in the wild except Tom when he's bouncing on the dance floor!!!!
Pretty pissed off actually, we travelled 17 hours to this 'JOB' and there is no fucking work! Its a working hostel, so you pay rent and they find you work but they just want folk to come down and pay them money. The place is like Keith but worse! Sharing a house with 12 folk , 4 bedrooms with 4 in a room! Not ideal! Just done a CV and going to sent that back to Sydney jobs i think. NO other work here. We're hanging out by the rievr everyday cause we almost skint after going mental in Sydney. Och it'll work out like?

Hey!
Thai was too hot, little tom was exhausted & couldn't go outside but i played with our pet lizard , Leonard who occupied our room with us, so we came to Sydney. Heading south tomorrow, got a 17 hour greyhound bus journey. Oh no! Got a wee fruit picking job, totally can't wait! It'll be like when i was ten & picked rasps.

between rothes and aberlour, we built a house. iv been here 7 months and still dont know anyone and to go back to fochabers even for a night takes a ridiculous amount of planning! hows canada? you still enjoying it? i was speaking to mandy at ryans funeral hadn't seen her in ages, it just a pity it was under such bad circumstances
just thought would send you an idea of this permanent fixture we have in our house, GUESS WHO THIS IS? x
