Love

There is something that has always struck me as heartbreakingly sad about the human race as a whole.

The concept of love.

It has so many different meanings, varying slightly from person to person. Finding someone that shares your view is a small miracle and, when we do, having them say they love you is expected. But, why?

Just because one person feels the other is their soul mate, the love of their lives, doesn't mean the other person in the equation feels the same. Yet, we expect it. We want to hear that they love us, that they want to spend the rest of their lives with us. But...who are we to say how that other person should feel?

We have no right to assume the other person, or anyone else, for that matter will ever feel what we do for them at the same time. That doesn't mean that you won't find someone that does. It's just difficult.

So, please, don't assume anything when it comes to love. Just because a person doesn't hold your hand doesn't mean that he/she isn't dying to. Just because they tell you they will be with you forever doesn't mean they will.

Keep your mind and heart open. Maybe, if you are amazingly lucky, you will find someone that views you in the same light you have cast upon them.








Mistakes


Most of us don’t like to make mistakes. Mistakes can be costly or dangerous at their worst, and embarrassing at best. But, we all DO make mistakes, don’t we? And, probably, as long as we are alive, we will continue to do so. To live, is to make mistakes!

Having a right attitude concerning mistakes is important. They can help us grow, or they can destroy us. Some people prefer to deny that they make mistakes, and this is never a wise thing to do. It’s better to admit it and deal with it. I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to say, “Yep! I goofed. Sorry. What can I do to make it right?”

It’s important to learn from our mistakes. They can be wonderful learning experiences! Nothing teaches you what NOT to do better than doing it, and having to deal with the consequences! We need to stay teachable. We need to get what we can out of it and move on.

I don’t look for perfect people, I look for people of good character – people who can receive correction without getting all bent out of shape, touchy and offended. These people will do well. It is healthy (and honest!) to admit that occasionally, we mess up. It’s usually not a big deal unless we make it a big deal.

It is best to be able to learn from our mistakes and move past them. Some go through life beating themselves up over things from their past they can do absolutely nothing about. They are held captive by their hurt, or pride or perfectionism, and it keeps them from moving on. They give their mistakes the power to shape their futures. How much more valuable it is to learn from our mistakes, and even from observing the mistakes of others. Learn and move on.

Use your mistakes to grow.


Hate


Hate is such a waste. I'd much rather spend the late hours of the night talking with someone that makes me laugh. At least then I'll wake up feeling happy. I think sometimes hateful people have few others they can depend on, so they rely on an ill disposition for strength, to crowd out the sadness.

I've cut out television because I think the media feed upon emotions, especially bad emotions, in order to get higher ratings. I'm all for good journalism that unearths corruption and problems in society but when the 24-hour news channels brings on pundits, all they ever talk about is their opinions. They are all prejudiced.

The media created the myth that a public figure's life should be subject to intense scrutiny. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, these people's lives would have been, would be much happier if photographers and cameramen were not scouring around their homes, parties and clubs in order to catch them at embarras

A simple phrase can live with someone for years with an action behind it. Promises to me are sacred. They're something i won't do to get myself out of a tight spot. I try my absolute hardest to make sure that when i do give a promise, i can actually fulfill it. I'm often referred to as: blunt or truthful. I'd rather be called a bitch than a liar.

However, for there are many who do not have the same set of morals as i do, it doesn't mean as much or hardly anything at all. Words are meaningless without action. With action, words come to life and imprint themselves in your very being. If you're in a relationship that the word "love" is constantly flung around, what does it mean anymore? Saying it so often takes away the meaning, strips it of it's important ties to our emotions, so why do it?





We think that it assures the other person or perhaps yourself that you believe in what you say, but who knows unless we see action? They say they love you, but do they remind you without words? They say they'll meet up with you someday, but do you actually meet up with them? What's the point? Or maybe you say things because they sound pretty, will make them happy. Here's the blunt truth made specially from uniquely me: I don't love you, i don't hate you, and i'll never meet up with you.
So the truth hurts, how about the embarrassment and hurt from finding out you've been lied to all along? Fast and quick like a band aid makes the pain less, makes it over quicker. Get something off your chest, go at it. If you know you don't love someone, please don't hurt them more and lie to them.
"Talk the talk, walk the walk." It's all too irritating to hear someone talk about punching someone else in the face 24/7 when you know they won't. If you're not going to do it, please just shut your mouth.
I hope that people will actually make their promises come true, keep people from disappointment, follow their words with action. If you're not brave enough to do the action, then you're not worth the words.


Don't try on words and see how they fit in the long run. If they're too big, work out and fit into them. Work hard to make promises come true. How can you judge a man entirely? If you're thinking of appearance, of their look on the outside... Consider the following: Beauty fades, truth is forever. You judge a man by how well he holds his words, how well he holds you with sincerity.
If you throw around words like: love and hate, what does that say about you? Don't trash the language that makes beautiful literature, don't trash trust for the future generation. Words are meant for communication, why would you waste time, words, on someone you don't even love or hate?
I hope to help bring back the meaning of words. Instead of separating them from actions, they'd coincide in perfect harmony. Both working to change the world together. In this time however, it seems impossible to even conceive the idea of a world leader that's sincere in his words.




Words isn't what changed the world... actions changed the world. Actions change every single one of us everyday.




Embrace your words. Make your dreams come true. Tell yourself you'll make your future bright and then do it. Try your hardest, don't run away from your problems, you promised.

In my defense, I'm not jealous of them. I won't ever be jealous of them unless they gain credibility by actually singing in the genre known as "rock", not "pop". You have no right to call yourself a BAND until then. Oh right, and the the whole "good boy" image is a load of crap. That's just there so moms will like you for being their daughters' role models and buy merchandise that's got the "JBro" image on it. It's a hoax for the consumer to eat the crappy music up.

DISNEY

Now, onto a new point. You're from Disney. I'm sorry but that's a good enough reason to hate the Jonas Brothers. Yes, that includes hating Miley Cyrus and all those other wannabe celebrities. Has anyone noticed that now all the actors in Disney tv shows/movies all have singles coming out? Like that Emily Osment from Hannah Montana? Agh.*No, I don't hate the old Disney, where they produced great films like the Lion King, Mulan, Aladdin, and such. Just now, where they're greedy businessmen who want to take all your money with tacky schemes. Sigh, sounds just like those Twilight franchise businessmen...

SKINNY JEANS

This last one is something MANY people will share the same opinions about, whether you hate the JB or not. The notorious skinny jeans.





Those guys wear more skinny jeans than an average American eats hamburgers, and that's a lot. When you see a photo of either one of those guys, you can bet your money they're wearing skinny jeans. I don't think they're hot, sexy or even remotely attractive. It's disgusting, distracting, and all around barf-inducing. Hmm...now I don't expect only models to wear skinny jeans, but the guys look like they're 5"5 with them on. So as a third party observer, please lay off the skinny pants. *Skinny jeans/pants should be worn with a belt because they do not look good masquerading as baggies.

I probably have more insignificant rants, but these would be the highlights. Enjoy XD
