Crossing the Tasman!
Its been a while since Ive been on bebo, let alone have time to type out a blog, thats why this one will be short.
In my immediate family there are now more of us living in Aust than NZ. A whole bunch of my cousins moved over last month with many more wanting to move over with their families.
There's the booming mining industry, pay is alopt higher for the same work you'd do here, apparently they look after their tertiary students better in Aussie too. And clearly the warmer weather beats NZ hands down.
But is the grass really that much greener over there? What's wrong with NZ? There is also another trend, but a much smaller flow, of people moving back to the islands!
So... which country really does have the best opportunites for our people. So far, my family seem to think Aust...

Finding the 'ONE'
Ummm... this is the first time Ive really done this so forgive me if it aint what its meant to be... Im guessing its meant to be like a dear dairy, EXCEPT the whole world can read it hehehe.
Well what to talk about? Hmmm... Ive deleted my last few attempts at starting a blog coz Ive never thought that what I had to offer was worth putting up... but I guess its like my quiz... I dont care if no-one wants to read this, or if they do read it they might think 'STINK' or 'what a waste of space' hehehe... coz I guess thats what this really is... a wast of space! Hehehe...
Neways for anyone who is still reading I just wanted to start off asking: is there really 'the ONE'? Is there this ONE person that we are all destined to live with for the rest of our lives? How do you know that a person is the ONE?
Hehehe, ok incase you're wondering HOW I came up with such a topic... ummm email me and I'll fill you in hahaha... nah jokes. It was a topic that a group of us were thinking about the other week, and it was recently brought up in another group of mates... so I thought, shucks people actually think about this topic alot hehehe. So yeah...
Ok I guess I better start the ball rolling, and in true lawyer fashion, my reply wont be an answer to the question, but MORE questions to the question hehehe:
I guess attached to this idea of the 'ONE' is the 'PERFECT MATCH'. But can we truly say that there is 'the ONE' out there for us if we can never really meet everyone in the world. I mean, how do we know that a person is the perfect match if we have not met everyone... after all there might be a perfect match for you or I living in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil... or Mombasa, Africa! We only ever meet a certain number of people in our lifetime, and even within that group, those who might be a perfect match might already be taken (watch out all you snakes hehehe). To be pessimistic: maybe, in the end, we just 'SETTLE' into relationships. Maybe thats a bit mean, so here's a lighter spin on it: maybe, in the end, we grow to live and love the person we choose, and they BECOME the ONE over time?
I dunno, maybe this is a bit all too much for a first blog entry hehehe. If youre already sleeping my bad... have you taken my EQUALLY long quiz? Hehehe... For those of you doing exams... BEST OF LUCK!
