RBD is a group that originated in 2004 as part of the story of the Latin soap opera ..Rebelde... The group, formed by Anahi, Dulce, Maite, Alfonso, Christian and Christopher soon surpassed fiction and became a reality. Now the group is making waves in the world of Hispanic pop.
Their debut album ..Rebelde.. launched great radio hits in Mexico like ..Rebelde.., ..Solo Quedate en Silencio.., ..Salvame.. and ..Un Poco de Tu Amor... Not too long after the release, the album went Gold then Platinum and most recently Diamond for sales over 500,000 copies in their native country.
Their first tour ..Tour Generation RBD.. originated a CD and a DVD (on sale in the U.S. November 8th) featuring medleys pop/rock from the 80s and new tracks ..Una Cancion.. and ..Liso Sensual.. in addition to the songs included in the original record. The ..RBD Live.. album went Platinum in Mexico.
