OMD are my favourite band - I'm a MEGA fan and I'm crazy about them. I can't get enough of them. I had seen OMD live in 2007, which was also in Glasgow and I loved it....but the 2008 one was the best out of the two of them. I was quite sad when it all finished, but I've been happy and I can't stop smiling and laughing now - it's changed me completely . OMD are my Number 1 band forever - And nothing can EVER change that. Roll on Next Year - Can't wait to see them again! Best Band Live and The Best Band Ever!


What I didn't know (Someone told me this - who was also there) was that when I met Paul, he was kind of grinning when he was chatting to me and when I went all kinda shy, he just looked away in their direction for a second and smile, but they said 'you could tell he was thinking "awwwwe"'. As if to say 'she's shy too', lol. That's touching, and so sweet. I thank him from the bottom of my heart. I'll have to make it up to him at the next OMD Concert I go to, lol. What a sweet, polite, kind, down-to-earth guy he is. I LOVE him MORE now, lol . Thank you Paul! . You've made me happier than EVER! I'm so touched and speechless, I don't know what to say .



Ok, here's my review (Mentions People From The Official OMD Forum That I Know).

Well, I had to leave my house at 12:40 (Mainly because I didn't want to bump into the kids at my school who come out at 1:00 - yes I did get the day off). So, we waited at the bus stop for the bus to Edinburgh, but the bus didn't come. So, we decided to wait at another bus stop, and then the school kids came out for lunch. A few teachers did pass me in their car, but I got away with it. We went to another bus stop, so we wouldn't meet anyone that might have knew me and saw me. Then, I bumped into a friend of mine who was on work experience, but she didn't bother. Long last, the bus turned up at 1:30 , and we where on our way. On the bus, I decided to read a page of the Messages book and listen to Genetic Engineering on my MP3 Player - Since I knew they were playing that. We reached Edinburgh at about 2:30 (Takes an hour to get to Edinburgh on the bus from where I stay), and we went and got a bit of lunch. After that, we made our way to the train station. We got a bit confused at the ticket machine, so we just went to the desk instead (Faster, easy, ain't as much trouble). We got the train tickets for Glasgow - there and back, and my tickets were free! (Children go free before Off Peak time). Got on the train and I was feeling very nervous. Ok, so I saw them last year, but I still had the same feeling. Saw some very nice scenery on the journey. We reached Glasgow at nearly 4 O'clock (It takes an hour on the train). When we got out of the train station, I took one look at Glasgow city center and said "It looks a bit like Edinburgh, but much bigger!". Phoned up International to find out on where I was to meet him, and he said the stage door or the The Iron Horse (A pub). We looked everywhere for the stage door and we couldn't find it. So, I phoned International again and he told me to look for a truck. So we went to look for a truck and we found one!......but it belonged to Goldfrapp. So, we started to hunt around again. Then, International text me saying that we were to meet him at the stage door at 5. We had to ask where the stage door was, and we found....at long last. At 5 O'clock, we met Dee and introduced ourselves and then along came International.

So, we all went into the stage door (I think there were another two people, but I wasn't sure on who they were). We went upstairs to where the stage was. International asked us if we had the cake (For Martin's birthday), and we did. He took, and hid it from Martin. We heard Malcolm's drumming from where we were (Mainly because we just next to the stage). International brought the cake back out on a tray and hid it in between some rows and we sat next to - so no one would steel it. A few minutes after all that Andy cam
