Información: We are the Gemstones, a contemporary vocal harmony ensemble. We met through social networking sites, after answering an Ad for singers by Founder and Manager Naisae Dorothy Mdoe in early 2008. We formed the current Gemstones Group in March 2008 specifically to enter LAST CHOIR STANDING on BBC1. We were in the top 60 in the whole of the UK after forming 3 weeks before the competition and beat off choirs that had been together over 10 years.

The Gemstones Vocal Harmony Collective is a community project that has various ensembles, a gospel choir, a contemporary vocal harmony group and an afro-beat youth performance group. .
