The Twang Versus Cancer 2009
The Twang have been confirmed for a short set at next Saturday's Versus Cancer 2009 event at Manchester Evening News Arena.
The event aims to raise money for the Versus Cancer charity, founded by Andy Rourke of The Smiths.
Other acts appearing include Snow Patrol, Happy Mondays, Kid British, James and Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order).

The Twang Support The Wonderstuff
The Twang have announced plans to play a special show with Birmingham legends 'The Wonder Stuff' this month at Birmingham's O2 Academy on December 17th 2009.
The gig will see The Twang take to the stage for their second hometown Christmas show - but this time they're sharing it with another group of local legends.
