Metallica / Machine Head - Wembley 8th July 2007 HOLY SHIT!!
Right, where to start? Mastodon are rubbish, gave them a chance, but crap.
Machine Head, fucking intense and amazing as usual. Great set, i wanted machine head on the bill from the beginning! 3 Machine Head gigs in a month anyone? yes please
HIM - wrong gig to be at
Metallica - AMAZING!!! orion, ...and justice for all, whiplash, disposable heroes, cant it get any better? well yes it can, the setlist was fucking class, 3 songs or more off kill - the black album then the memory remains and no leaf clover. Metallica played like it was their last gig ever.
Special Moment:
Didnt get a pit pass, was annoyed, then god said, Dale, sorry kid, Lets make it up to you. After meeting machine head again during HIMs set, out pops Phil Demmell and Robb Flynn to headbang and play air guitar with myself, corey, phil and others who were around us at the time!! great craic!! Me and robb shouting "i will help you die" during puppets to each other, phil demmell, me and corey air guitaring to fade to black, it was class. These guys are just the most down to earth blokes you'll ever meet, huge metallica fans.
