Tanora
A two-litre bottle of TanoraTanora is a tangerine flavoured carbonated drink sold in the Republic of Ireland (predominantly Munster - though traditionally it achieved high sales only in Cork). Most of the the Product sales were in and around the Farranlea Park area of Bishopstown. It is rumoured that one individual (one Justin McCarthy) bought up close to 80% of all Tanora produce in 1994 and consumed this in less than 4 days. It is also rumoured that the result of this was his hair turning a bright orange shade in colour and has remained that colour to this day. Others say that he simply dyes it this colour to show his love for the soft drink. It was bought out by Coca Cola.
Tanora is packaged only in 2-litre plastic bottles, 330ml cans, and 200ml pub bottles, with 500ml plastic bottles added to the line-up early in 2006.
