Festival Times
Gates open from 11am on Friday 26 January for pre-registered punters
Gates open from 1pm for those purchasing tickets at the gate
Festival programme starts at 6pm on Friday 26th January and finishes at 2pm on Monday 29th
Site officially closes @ 6pm on Monday 29 January




Accommodation
Parachute Festival is all about the tenting! So bring your tent, accompanied by all the necessary implements - pegs, hammers, tarpaulins. We've reserved camping space just for families - so you and the kids can get a good night's sleep! However if tenting isn't your thing then see below for a list of more 'civilised' living arrangements.

Follow State Highway 1 to Taupiri

Turn left onto Gordonton Road (State Highway 1b)

Follow road, through Komakorau

Turn left down Taylor Road (State Highway 1b)

At the end of Taylor Road turn right onto

Upon reaching the intersection go straight through

CODE OF CONDUCT

Alcohol, party pills and illegal drugs are prohibited on site. Anyone suspected of possession or use of illegal substances will be removed from site by police.

Please drive safely on Mystery Creek Road.

You can't enter or exit the Mystery Creek site between the hours of 12.30am and 7.30am due to the local curfew.

Don't go wandering around any neighbourhood property.

Gates open at 1pm on Friday (or 11am if you are pre-registered) at the earliest.

Your festival wristband must be worn at all times. No refunds are possible if this wristband is lost or stolen.

No stage diving or crowd surfing.

No swimming in the river.

Unauthorized video taping or recording of performances is not permitted.

Your are not allowed to distribute advertising or promotional material in any form without written permission from Parachute Music.

No busking.

Open fires are not permitted due to seasonal fire risks - gas cookers and BBQs are fine.

You cannot park your car by your tent - we have allocated vehicle-parking areas and trucks are available to help transport your gear.

In the interest of water conservation, leave your paddling pools at home.

No boys and girls sharing tents, unless you're married.

Please leave your pets at home.

Tent city is only for tents and they must be no bigger than 30m2. Scaffolding and other such dodgy structures are not allowed.

Bikes are not permitted, but skateboards are allowed at the skatepark.

Modest dress is required at all times.

No amplified sounds, such as stereos, are permitted between 12midnight and 8am. Please
