- Music teacher, guitarist, musician...when not answering questions from students (Dan, Caolan and now Rob....) I'm either practicing or spending time with my family.
I teach a variety of musical styles (Shred, Metal, Pop, Funk, Blues, Jazz...and lets not forget the all important anomaly that is music theory!). I have studied contemporary musical formats up to degree level and have several years teaching experience in the U.K. the States and Ireland. If you are looking to delve further into guitar or are sick of your current teacher send me a message...
As for other happenings...I am currently working on a progressive rock concept album tentatively titled "Dystopia". Several tracks are nearing completion although I have yet to secure the services of a vocalist or three!).

Workshops? Anybody? :D
Its getting that time of year again!
As many of you know, last summer I put on a series of live performance workshops. They were successful (in my opinion anyway) but this year I want to go a step further.
Basically, I am opening the forum so to speak. What kinds of things would you like to see at this years workshops?
Live performance? Theory? Band workshops? Songwriting? What styles of music would you like to see covered?
I am putting these on for you guys...so by all means, leave suggestions/comments!

posted by barry Iron Maiden will open the European leg of their Final Frontier World Tour on Friday 30 July at the O2 in Dublin, with very special guests Heaven & Hell. Tickets will go on sale next Friday 16th April at 9.00am, with a special pre-sale for members of the Iron Maiden Fan Club starting on Tuesday 13th April at 9am. The tour takes its name from their forthcoming new studio album, 'The Final Frontier', which is expected be released in the late summer of this year. Following shows in USA and Canada, the Final Frontier World Tour will travel to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011.
