Wennie Woo is flying out at Half Term, Absie is flying out with a chum tucked under her arm and we shall be here because this is where we live!!!

Madness shall abound and much chuckling, sniggering and general hilarity shall ensue.

I am thinking it couldn't get more exciting if Stephen Fry and Eddie Izzard phoned to say they were on their way too. Although, to be fair, we ent got the room for they too, now. I ent making me bestest mate and me littlest daughter and her finest roomie sleep in the shed for famous people's comforts.

So if Mr Izzard and Fry are on their way over at Half Term, best they sort out some accomodation. They can share the wine and insanity but they can't actually stay.

So there!

Well now. I had an idea of what I wanted to say. Got me box all ready. Went and gotta Coke. And now I am wracking my brains. I seem to be losing words and thoughts. Is it old age? Or just old fashioned tiredness? Who can tell? No answers, please. No postcards, thank you!

Oh. I remember. It was to do with one of me schpiels on this site - the 'What annoys me about other people schpiel'. Hmmmm - only I can't think what was so interesting I wanted to commit it to virtual paper.

Still, I do have a Coke now (sorry, Pepsi. Your product tastes like Dr Pepper and thats just wrong. On so many levels)

So Wennie has added to her blog, and I ent writ in mine fer ages and ages. Dear life and daisies, this'll never do!!

The sun she shines and yet it is cold out there. An anomoly which is rude, I htink. There should have been a tornado the other night, apparently, but we didn't get it. Just the way of all delivery men, the tornado guy has either got the wrong address or found a good roadside cafe to have his lunch in. Well, he can keep his windy delivery, us dunt want it! So there! Where does he think this is? Kansas?

The water weather has kept the new tree in our garden a springing forth. Buds and blossoms galore. And very lovely it is too. My clemetis has suffered, though. seems someone has cut the leaves and flower from the roots. Always a stumbling block to good growth, eh? Anyhoo, I see some leaves at the base of it so I am hoping it will flower and bloom in its own good time. Perhaps I shall need to put a mini fence around it to keep the blades of the garden guy away. We shall see.

In conversation the other night, Sue told me she often doesn't understand some 'old wives comments'. Much like Old Wives Tales, but no story. We spoke of 'She's no better than she should be', 'She'd set two stones to fight' and something which completely escapes me - but it was a good one!! Anyway - I dunt always understand em, either, but I do like em. I shall be thinking of some to stuff into me next blog. If'n I remembers!
