The show is on TV tonight on BBC 1:

Terry Wogan is joined by co-hosts Tess Daly and Fearne Cotton for another bumper night of fundraising fun in aid of children's charities across the country. McFly get the party started with the official Children in Need single Do Ya - a double A-side with Stay with Me, which they will perform later - there is a special performance of Grease and a magical mystery message from Merlin. 7.30pm John Torode and Gregg Wallace present a special Junior MasterChef and Emmerdale's Roxanne Pallett sings. 8pm The stars of I'd Do Anything are reunited for a performance of Oliver! and the cast of The Bill find themselves on the wrong side of the bars as they perform Jailhouse Rock in a tribute to the Blues Brothers. 8.30pm Terry and Tess take their partners and go head to head in a Strictly Come Dancing special, which promises a few surprise judges, and Doctor Who fans can see a sneak preview of this year's Christmas episode, in which David Tennant meets a man also calling himself the Doctor, played by David Morrissey. 9pm Gok Wan tries to dress the people of Coronation Street in How to Look Good Naked in Weatherfield, and Girls Aloud and Leon Jackson provide the music. 9.30pm The cast of EastEnders puts on a show-stopping West End spectacular and there is music from Take That, who recently announced they are planning to go back on tour next year. Throughout the evening there are appeal messages from a host of celebrities - including Stevie Wonder, Jack Black and the Osbourne family - as well as updates from around the region.
