Hey everybody,

Andy MacDonald here. You may have noticed over the last month or so that very little has been done on this Queen fan site. We had the incident which caused a lot of high tempers around here where my page was taken from me byBebo & Parlorphone records so they didn't have to create their own page from scratch.

After over a week of frustrations, we came to an arrangement whereby i would continue to run the page day-to-day, as if it was still my own page, whilstParlorphone would act as a 'silent partner' so-to-speak.

I was very happy with this arrangement when it was agreed because it meant all my hard work on this page over the previous 2 years hadn't gone to waste, however after a lot of debating and thinking, i have come to the decision to hang up my boots, and pass on the reigns to somebody else.

If the truth be known, all my enthusiasm for this page was lost when the page was taken off me without any form of explanation. Of course, i still love Queen, but it really made me think, "well, whats the point?". I often spent 3/4 hours per day working on this page before, but now, I've a lot of other stuff going on in my life, and that enthusiasm is no longer there.

I hate to leave, but it really is the right decision. This page needs to be run by somebody who is more committed than i am right now. Queen deserves that, if nothing else!

I am officially leaving this page as of writing this blog post, so if Lynsey does not want to run this page herself, i leave the decision to find somebody new is completely down to her; LynseyYuill has helped me soo much on this page over the last 18 months, and i trust her decision 100%. I have often thanked Lynsey via email for all her hard work, but id like to take this opportunity to thank her publicly also, and whilst we are on the subject of thankyou's, id like to thank all the loyal fans to this site over the last few years too.

Namely Darragh Mcevoy, Buick Makane, Jill Mc Mahon, Amanda Woods, and all the other fans who are 'regulars' here.
