Welcome to the Largs Thistle Football Club Bebo page. Thistle have became known as one of Ayrshires best junior football teams and play their home games at Barrfields park in Largs. The team play in a gold and black home and a red and white away kit. The finest moment in the history of the club came in 1994 when they beat Glenafton Athletic 1-0 at Ibrox stadium to lift the Scottish Junior Cup. Although they also lifted the West of Scotland cup in 1991 with a 1-0 victory over Renfrew.
More recently, under the management team of Sandy Maclean and Paddy McIlvogue, Thistle managed to reach the West of Scotland Premier League for the first time by finishing 6points clear of rivals Kilbirnie Ladeside.
