WHAT EVOLVE IS
Evolve is a New Zealand and worldwide Car club. Evolve started in Australia in 2002 and was brought to New Zealand by Nikki Lister in 2004. Since this arrival, the club has grown from a mere 3-4 founding members to over 150 paid members and over 350 forum members and it is growing at an unbelievable speed.
Evolve is all about educating the women of today about safe and positive ways to participate in motorsport; we encourage our girls (and male supporters) to be involved in motorsport events. We also hold regular cruises, fundraisers, track days, show events, charity events and social functions with the idea of having fun and learning in the aim of getting everyone off the streets.
We also hold workshop days over the country to teach our girls how to maintain and safely modify their vehicles. All members are encouraged not to attend nor participate in illegal activities.

MEMBERS
Evolve is open to all makes and models of cars and everyone is welcome to join regardless of whether or not they have a licence or a vehicle. If they have a passion and interest for vehicles and motorsports then we aim to support them.
We also have an R-Evolve section for the men who support us girls!
We now have members from all over New Zealand and Australia and we have now expanded to members in Ireland and forum members from America.

WHO WE SUPPORT
Evolve heavily supports the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and will continue to do so. We fundraise at every event we participate in whether it be selling wrist bands or asking for donations with the Breast Cancer buckets.
We have also supported Julia Huzziff, a NZ V8 driver with donations after a serious crash she had whilst racing. Our slogan is “Supporting Women in Motorsport” but we support all women in general.

Evolve is heavily involved in the show scene in New Zealand, from recent shows we have been involved in and prizes we have won.

MOTORSPORT EVENTS

In Evolve we have girls that compete regularly in ALL types of Motorsport. Listed below are some of our Achievements.

Road deaths in the year of 2008 are up on the past two years, with 159 people dyeing in fatal accidents on our roads this year-to-date. 5 of these being in the Nelson/Tasman region, this is up in the past 3 years.
Nelson member of Evolve Holly Norriss wanted to do something to make a difference, not just within youth, but people of all ages and interests more aware. So she and the Nelson Evolve girls held a “Safe Motoring Expo”. This event was aimed at promoting safer driving within the Nelson region, There where a lot of displays, ranging from The Police Seatbelt Machine, Fatal Vision Goggles, A Bogan car (where people will have to go round and spot illegal modifications) as well as a car Show’n’Shine – Plus so much more! This year from the expo the girls banked $1,035 to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Evolve also has combined with Still Vodka NZ Drift Series 2008, by running a Show n Shine Round 3 – Ruapuna Christchurch and Pukekohe Auckland. Both of which have made it on Jim Beam NZ Performance Car TV 2.

Evolve Track days Kicked off in 2008, was a great success and we will be looking forward to the next one.

All events are legal and are encouraging everyone to take it to the track, and off our streets.
