1.3. Sensible refrain:
Suffering exists because life is not an intentional function of the universe. The laws of nature exist, and life has evolved out of them and continues to do so, there is no design either for or against life, and therefore suffering is merely incidental and has nothing to do with any grand scheme. This is the most sensible conclusion to draw. However if it is felt that life hasn't evolved undirected, that a god has designs for life, then the next most sensible conclusion is that such a god is evil.

2.3. Sensible refrain:
Life exists as a precarious balance of self-replicating chemicals, and such a balancing game is always bound to be temporary, pending major technological discoveries or serious and continuous genetical engineering. That such extreme measures have to be taken to prolong life is evidence to the fact that life is incidental to the universe, a by-product that exists due purely due to statistical likelihood, and that life is temporary is because all the physical constructs of the universe are temporary. However, if a deity was believed in, it would be sensible to assume that it was evil and created life as such a disharmony in order to cause the suffering and pain of living beings.

3.3. Sensible refrain:
Such a god remains 'hidden' because actually it doesn't exist. Experiences of god and experiences of other spiritual things are mistakes, ego-projections, psychology and misleading experiences which nonetheless appear true to those that have them and are even partially a side product of the way we've evolved. However, if there is a god and it intentionally hides and spreads confusion and disagreement about its own nature, then it is not a truthful, good-natured god but one that prefers conflict.

4.3. Sensible refrain:
Of course, this is complete psychological wish making, people use God as a figure to replace their parents when they realize their parents aren't infallible or all-loving.

This group is for all the people that after watching 300, immediatley desired to be a Spartan warrior...this group is for all those people that if they could...they would give up everything...all the technolegy, medical expertise... so they could go back to a time, where men were MEN...they carried around swords, wore bright red capes...and had huge biceps and a six pack...they could kill a man in seconds...without wasting a second to think about it, and never regretted it...for they were born for that very purpose... not only did they love the smell of blood...but they hoped to feel the honor of death on the battlefield!!!! This group is also for the women that would give up anything to go back to a time where men worshiped their women, for they would do anything for there men, and they were honored...because only spartan women give birth to real men....

Dedicated to one of the greatest movies of the new century (300), to one of the greatest books of the last century ("Gates of Fire") and one of the greatest battles of all time (Thermopylae)!!

This group is most importantly dedicated to the MEN, the Spartan warriors, the greatest there ever were...who gave there lives at the Hot Gates...and the ones that loved them and lost them!!!!

If you have read "Gates of Fire" by Steven Pressfield than you know that this battle was known as Thermopylae, which gave you a reason to check his movie, or maybe you saw the amazing trailer, whatever the reason, you saw 300 and you loved it...for whatever reason; whether it be the amazing special effects...or the amazing battle scenes or even if your a girl (or I guess a guy) who enjoyed watching 300 half naked sweaty men kick ass and take no prisoners...than this group is for you...

The special effects are extraodinary & the battle scenes are flawless; they made your heart race and your jaw drop...sure while some criticize that at times the special effects can be overwelming or that it was too brutal or that it dehumanized the Persians or that it wasn't accurate!!! You're not going to let that take away from the utter sweetness of this movie! Because you know that in our times, there are few great things in this world that can excel w/o offending at least a few people!!! In fact, sometimes the more controversial the better it is!!! Also you remember that this is hollywood, and if it causes you as much emotion as this movie does, that it should be worshipped...

These men went up against tremendous odds not only from their opponents but their own people, these men went into battle knowing they would die and they cherished it...and they gave everything and they took everything, before their last breath, and sure it may have been more then two thousand years ago...but they died with the ultimate glory....for they never surrendered...not when the 7 foot tall Persian King Xerxes appeared on his golden throne carried by a thousand men and demanded that they kneel, nor when the rhinoceros stampeded towards them, nor even when the arrows blotted out the sun!!! Instead they stood laughing, even when they stood in the face of death when they were surrounded by millions...when they took there final stand!!!!

So if u left the theatre after 300 with a smile on ur face, even though u really wanted to scream "HELL YEAH" or an urge to go workout so you could have a body like any one of these 300 men...or craved that you could both buy a sword, and know how to use it from this moment forward...then folks this group is for you!!!!!
