- Me, Myself, and I
- Well, most of you knew me as Shavonna Peach... but on November 5th, 2005 that changed to Mrs Shavonna Bullock! I was blessed beyond measure the day I married Cameron, for God allowed me to marry my best friend! I have been blessed with a wonderful Christian heritage! My parents are Larry & Sue Peach - yes, the ones on the songbooks! We attend Paducah Holiness Church where Bro Therald Futral is our pastor. God is doing a mighty work - Come check it out!!!
We have a poodle named Shaylee and 1 large goldfish in. We are anticipating a blessing from God, when one day we can announce to the world that we will be parents. Sometimes waiting is the hardest part!!! I know God can and He is able - in whatever way He chooses!
- Music
- Southern Gospel, Choirs, my mom and dad. I love it when my husband starts singing to me. That is the sweetest!!!
- Scripture
- Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
- Sports
- My husband is a big St Louis Cardinals fan!
- Scared Of
- Cricket Spiders!!! I'm serious.. I have only seen them at my grandmother's house. They have the short body of a spider and long legs of a cricket. They totally drive me insane!!!
- Happiest When
- I'm spending time with my husband... and of course the rest of my family and my friends, vacationing in Branson in the summer or the Smokies in the winter. Worshiping the Lord and feeling His presense come down and just overtake me! Knowing the peace that only Jesus can bring!
- Hobbies
- Curling up on the couch in front of the fireplace with a good book, crocheting, and sewing. I also enjoy taking pictures and playing games with friends.
- Miscelleneous
- Pink roses, white daisies, shopping with my best friend Wessy, being held by my awesome husband, Serving the Lord, spending time with troubled children... these are a few of my favorite things...

God is so good and we have so much to be thankful for!
From my last blog, most of you know that I was facing thyroid surgery to remove a large tumor that is about the size of an egg - it was pressing on my trachea and voice box and when I would raise my arms it would cut off my circulation, almost making me pass out. Well, on this past Tuesday morning I went in for surgery. They already had me out and on the venitlator and were ready to make the incision when all of a sudden my lungs started filling up with fluid, my oxygen level started dropping and I went into respiratory failure. They are really not sure what happened. They could not get good placement on the ET tube, possibly from where the tumor is located. They had to bring me out from anesthesia but could not extubate me for over and hour and half. God was with me and kept me calm during this all. Later the doctor said if he had already made the incision there is not much more he could have done. They cancelled the surgery and now the anesthesiologist will not touch me. The plans now are to have a fine needle biopsy on Dec 3rd, if it is benign, they are going to try to shrink the tumor with radioactive iodine. If malignant, they will be sending me to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN for the surgery. === However I believe God has just given us another opportunity to see how He can work. Please join with us as we believe for a miracle. I honestly don't know if I or my family could handle having to go through this again. On the brighter side - I am home now and just dealing with some minor complications resulting from all the trauma - My throat is hamburger, my eyes pools of blood and I'm battling congestion and bronchitis again. Now they are just trying to get my lungs cleared back up. I am so thankful for everyone's prayers and concern!1 Comment 182 weeks

Another bump in the road...
I desire everyone's prayers as we encounter this new trial. As some of you know, I have been off sick for 6 weeks with double pneumonia, bronchial pneumonia and asthma. During this time I developed other symptoms - when I raise my arms, I get diaphoretic (clammy) and feel like I'm going to pass out and my heart rate started running from 140-160 with any exertion and now only drops to 110-115 at rest. This triggered them to check out my thyroid and they discovered a large mass on the left lobe (almost as big as the lobe itself). I don't know if all the medicine and steroids triggered the growth or what. Anyway, because of my respiratory status they can't give me meds to lower my heart rate so it is wearing me down. I saw the surgeon yesterday and am probably looking at surgery in the next 3-4 weeks to take out my thyroid. In the meantime I have some more testing and lab work. I know that God is able to take care of the whole situation, but if He choses not to I know that He will keep me through. I have already seen the hand of God at work in this situation and I am learning to fully lean on Him and trust Him! For we know that ALL THINGS work together for good....
Please keep me and Cameron in your prayers as we face the weeks to come and pray that God will give me the strength to continue working. He was there to strengthen me this past week as I worked and I thank Him for it. I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds tomorrow and that's good enough for me!3 Comments 188 weeks

Hey, I'd send you some sunshine if I could! I'm in Alaska where it's daylight just about 24 hours! Last night @ 11:00 I was reading a Taste of Home magazine and didn't even need to turn on a light in the room! I just used the light that was coming through the blinds! I checked with www.weather.com and the sunset is at 12:00 midnight but all it is it's like at dusk which is NOT dark! Then dawn comes not too long after that!
Hope you have a bright sunshiney day!

Just stoppin by to say....I MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!
