My name is Conor Dore. Just finished 2nd year of geomatics in D.I.T. In New York for the summer now!

I’m from Limerick and go to college in Dublin. Its great craic there. Love college life. Im mad into music, going to concerts, playing music, I dunno what I’d do without it!!

Love a bit of jazz too, miles davis, john coltrane, Kurt Elling and Chris Potter are great. Cant beat a good classical concert too!!

      No can't compensate, I have two repeats, failed GIS at Christmas. So it's going to be a pain. Glad to see you pass all yours.

      Good to here your having a good time and that you got a bit of work to. The summers going as expected. Ohhh remember that safe pass, well I showed up and the whole college was closed!!! There was only 2 others, what a joke the college is, not even an e-mail about it. >:( Anyway, have fun.

      Ah well, sure, it'll be great craic anyway!!! Never been to Kilkenny before, so it'll be someplace new. Maybe next year we'll go gallivanting abroad? ... Finally heard back from them - I'm in despite my complete illiteracy in the sightreading; there clearly aren't any other euphists in Ireland available!!!!!

      I don't actually know where it is. Rob mentioned something last summer about this scheme the German government's running - opening up music colleges during the summer for foreign bands to stay in and play music; any instruments they need provided, acomodation, food and sightseeing trips all sorted too. He was trying to arrange something there, but sure I still haven't heard anyhting back, so I haven't a clue!!!!! Thanks for your vote of confidence anyway!!!
