The other day I was at the church doing some " odd and in " stuff. My 3 yr. old nephew was with me and being a three year old it didn't take long for him to get restless So I came up with this idea that I'll give him something to do while I finish up my project. So I pulled out a broom, which was 3x's his size, and took him to this hallway, which was like 80 feet long. I told him to sweep this entire hallway.

As I gave him the instructions he held the broom like right at the bristles and started sweeping. As I started to walk away I was suddenly compelled to watch him. So I peeped around the corner and he was sweeping the heck out of this 2 foot section of the floor. Then it happened ... God spoke to my heart. "Eric, this is how I see my children. I don't ask the world of them I just want to be with them and out of love they want please me in anyway possible. I love my children."

As these words rang in my heart I came out in view to where my nephew could see me. When he saw me he smiled. And I said to him " You're a good worker" and as I said those words a huge smile came upon his face and he sceamed " I did good!" And as he began running down the hall he lifted the broom in the air and left a black mark about 15 foot long on the wall.

How true is this. Where ever we are in our lives right now it doesn't matter. God isn't concerned about details. I think we would be suprised on how much God DOESN'T stress out. He doesn't care if we hold a position in " full time" ministry ( by the way I hate that term) , He doesn't care if we mess up, He doesn't care if we're a part of an "organized" church body, He doesn't care if we like to fellowship with Him in our own homes with other brothers and sisters. These things doesn't concern God. So if these things don't concern Him , why do they concern us?

I believe I know why these things concern man because, the only way we humans show affection is by "doing something" for some one. That's why we stress out so much on what truly pleases God. The great thing is that God isn't programmed like us because ....... Hello! HE'S GOD!!!!

The only thing we're to grab a hold of is the fellowship of Jesus Christ on a daily basis. If you're a part of a mega church fellowship with Christ daily, if you're a part of a country church- fellowship with Jesus, if you are a part of a fellowship with other brothers and sisters -keep on enjoying him daily, or if you feel like you're doubting your relationship with Christ , maybe you think you've made " some marks on the wall" I'm here to tell you God doesn't see the marks, He sees the mark, the mark of Jesus that has been applied to your life. And if you are that person, I say to you.... keep communing with him daily.

We are his people and He loves us!!! What can be better. There is nothing more assuring that no matter what this world throws at us the Creator of this world has got our back 100%

This is the best prayer ,concerning the body, that I've heard.

"Jesus You taught us how to live,You taught us how to live free. Deliver us from the temptations of what we can do. Deliver us from the temptations of what we can do that have trapped us into the bondage of the system of this world, that have trapped us into the bondage of debt to man so now we have to live according to the will of man instead of the will of you Father. Forgive us for creating denominations based on pleasing man and cliental. When You created us Lord to worship You and You alone. Father release us from the bondage of the temptation of doing what we can, of using the system of politics , the systems of tradition, the systems of manipulation of witchcraft to build our own kingdom instead of Your kingdom. Forgive us Lord lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, deliver us from evil, deliver us from evil, deliver us from the evil from our own hearts oh God!!"

Here lately I have been curious of the true idenity of the church. Last week I seen a church that offered 3 different styles of worship which included bluegrass@ 9am,traditional@ 10 am, and contemporary@ 11 am. As I read that I couldn't help but to think why are they trying to offer all of this for.Then on the other side you have places that teach self empowerment,which pertains to work life and social life but doesn't talk about TRUE LIFE.Then you have the ones who don't agree to the organized church that scripture clearly tells about. After pondering on these things I thought I would see what Jesus says about it.In Matt the meaning of the term church means " the place of the calling out". Out of this meaning there is a awesome cycle: God calls out to us, we call out to others, and others call out to God. There is one thing that keeps this thing going and it is an active indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives. See, it's through us, earthly vessels, that the Spirit uses to call out to God. And that's what is missing in the church today. The church has pushed the Spirit out with their ability to cater to every one's idea of what church should be like or be involved in.But, I'm here to tell you that man's reasoning will not succeed. Brothers and Sisters, I encourage you to go to your churches and let the Spirit use you to make it a place that calls out to God once again. I want to be that voice that's crying out in the wilderness. I want to be that light in the darkness that calls out to people. Maybe some of you are struggling,weary,or need some direction for your lives.What ever your situation I know that God wants to call out to some through you. I want to be a part of that traditional church, not the church that hangs out or hides out from organized church, but that Bride that calls out to others to take a glimpse of what makes her so loving, merciful, and satisfied. Her reason for living in this world, Jesus.
