- The All Blacks. The most feared and respected name in rugby. They have produced many legends and continue to breed them. Its a dream for nearly every boy to wear the black jersey of the All Blacks. And although many never obtain that dream the passion and love for the All Blacks is still there. To New Zealand its more than a game.. It's an icon.. It's a love... It's life.. Rugby may bring out the best and worse in anyone.. It may make or shatter dreams.. Its the global game that anyone of any shape and size can play... the All Blacks dominate it... and they are ours.... Whether its waking up early hours of the morning to watch the tour or sitting in the stands dressed in black supporting the team... It is your support that keeps them going... it is your support that turns it from a game to an honour... It is your support that will make them number one.... Show your support... Go the All Blacks.....

All Blacks line-up: Contenders pile on the pressure
With the 22 top players about to return to Rebel Sport Super 14 action, here is one writer's choice for an All Blacks team made up of players who have played the first half of the season.
Top players could potentially play 15 Super 14 and six Philips Tri Nations games before contesting the World Cup, and from a player's perspective this is a good thing.
Without the top 22 All Blacks in the first half of Rebel Sport Super 14, many fringe and young players had a chance to shine. With that in mind, here is my All Blacks side based solely on form during the first half of Super 14.
Fullback: Cory Jane (Hurricanes). Jane has shone in a Hurricanes back three that is always looking to counter attack. Solid under the high ball and an excellent tackler, he provides solidity at the back, and his open-field running makes him an attacking threat from just about anywhere on the field. While the Hurricanes have had issues of late, Jane has continued to play well.
Left wing: Doug Howlett (Blues). As part of the explosive Blues back line, Howlett is back to his clinical best. Currently tied for the lead with team-mate Rudi Wulf and Force star Cameron Shepherd for the most tries in the Super 14, he is also getting more involved on both defence and attack.
Right wing: Rudi Wulf (Blues). Like his team-mate Howlett, Wulf is a deadly finisher and able to make breaks from just about anywhere. A former sevens star, he has adjusted to the 15-man game well and could well make the Philips Tri Nations squad ahead of other wingers who lack form.
Centre: Casey Laulala (Crusaders). Injuries to key players at centre has made choosing a form player difficult. Tana Umaga has played well for the Hurricanes but is retired from international rugby. Laulala is improving with every outing; in his first game against the Blues he was exposed a bit, but since then has worked hard on his defence. Capable of breaking the line with both power and finesse, he is playing well for the Crusaders and is the most consistent of the New Zealand centres.
Second five: Luke McAlister (Blues). Unlucky to miss out on the 22-man reconditioning squad, McAlister has been the catalyst for the Blues' excellent early-season form. Able to taunt opponents with his ball skills and ghost through with his footwork, he also has excellent vision to put team-mates into space. An accurate kicking game had kept Blues’ opponents on the back foot, and McAlister is a capable goal kicker.
First five: Steven Brett (Crusaders). Brett looks more and more like Dan Carter every time he plays. He has the same ability as Carter to freeze opposition defensive lines before darting through, and can control the tempo of a game through his kicking game. While he lacks Carter’s sheer talent and experience, Brett is a player for the future. Honourable mention has to go to Nick Evans, who has only played one game so far this season but was absolutely brilliant against a much better team. Isa Nacewa was not considered as he is ineligible to play for the All Blacks.
Halfback: Jimmy Cowan (Highlanders). In a side that has struggled for much of the season, Cowan is the pick of the New Zealand halfbacks. Capable under pressure, with a fast release and able to hold off would-be tacklers, he is an all-around modern halfback. Crusaders’ Andy Ellis and Hurricanes’ Alby Matthewson have both been playing well, but their lack of international experience means Cowan gets my nod.
Number 8: Jerome Kaino (Blues). In a turnaround from previous years, Kaino is playing very well in a Blues pack that has dominated all-comers. Kaino was an All Black some years ago before falling into obscurity, but with a new attitude he is playing excellent rugby. A powerful runner from the base of the scrum, he also has the speed and skills to range wide with devastating effect.
Openside flanker: Josh Blackie (Highlanders). Blackie is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated loose forwards in N0 Comments 321 weeks
