I have friends who listen to completely different genres of music, in fact, my 3 best friends are mainly into indie and dance music. I'm not worthless, I have a lot to do, I'm in university studying criminology. I do have a life, I go out and hang out with my mates, I work, I learn etc. I don't have a huge cross chain. In fact, my chain isn't even huge. I don't go to Church as I'm an Atheist. I don't beat people up, even if they deserve it.
