Basically, I got sick of all the biased athletes in the world - The whole war of "Distance Runners vs Sprinters."
Anyway, I wanted to make a page that everyone would feel comfortable posting on and proud of what they have achieved. If you're here to argue, (i'll put this as nicely as I can) You're not wanted here!
I believe all athletes are alike. It doesn't matter what gender, race, age, or beliefs we all are or have. We all share one thing... The love of the sport.
We all know the adrenaline rush you get when standing on the start line.
We all know the amazing feeling of achieving a goal after a lot of hard work.
We all know that our biggest competitor is ourselves.

  • Help with Training - Please Read Carefully

    As one of my previous blogs "Training Tips" was not very successful, i am trying again.

    Firstly if you wish to have help, you will need to add me as a friend. If you don't, it is possible i will be unable to reply. If you also have things such as age blocks on your profile, i am probably a fair bit older than most of you, and therefore will still be unable to reply.

    The best ways you can ask for help are to:

    either

    > leave a comment on my profile page, this is not the group page.

    or

    > send me a bebo mail message.

    If you want a reasonably helpful answer you will need to include the right information. the more detailed, the better i can help.

    If you say something along the lines of

    " i'm _____ years old
    i run _____ meters
    i want to get better.

    please help"

    i am not going to be able to help you without more information.

    If you answer all of these, and also add a bit about yourself. I will work on a training program for you, if it is appropriate.

    Intense training should not be started until at earliest 15 years old.

    If you are under 15, i reccommend you just stay interested in the sport and train lightly. have long term goals. if you start training too young you risk serious injury into your older teen and adult years. these injuries can be permanent and may stop you from reaching your full potential as an athlete.

  • Apology for not updating this page

    Hi all.

    I have to start with an apology for not continuing to update this page. I have been doing a lot of travelling recently and have had little time to update, especially over the last 2 months.

    You can expect to see changes made a few times a week from now on.

    Thank you all for continuing to post. Its good to see the respect being given to everyone for what they do.

    If there is anything i can help with please don't hesitate to leave a comment. If you post it on the band, i may miss it. so if it is important, post it on my homepage.

    female (obviously)
    i have competed in 1 mile,2 mile ,5k
    my main is a 5k
    i am not in hs any more so i just run for fun but do compete
    my fastest time i have gotten in 5k, and it happened last week :D so happy i ran a 5k in 22:15 almost broke 22 minutes, darn ill try harder next time :D

    Alrite i do no training 2 be honest.
    Main events r 100,200,long jump,triple jump and javilen.
    Won sports champ in my school 4 3 years in a row now.
    My best 4 each events r:
    100 12.38 on grass
    200 24.33 on track
    Long jump 5m
    Triple jump 11.28m
    Javilen 33m
