The professional wrestler known as "Test" or the "Punisher" planned to leave Monday to celebrate in France, Sweden and Belgium, according to his MySpace page.

  • ANDREW 'TEST' MARTIN FOUND DEAD AT AGED 33!!!

The Associated Press issued the following article:

Ex-WWE champ, Andrew Martin, found dead in Fla.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say former professional wrestler Andrew Martin, who was known as "Test" and "The Punisher" to fans, has died at his Tampa home. He was 33.

The former World Wrestling Entertainment champion was found dead at his apartment Friday night. Police say a neighbor reported that she could see into his apartment window and that Martin appeared motionless for several hours.

Police say there was no indication of foul play. A cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.

During his time with Stamford, Conn.-based World Wrestling Entertainment, Martin held the Intercontinental, European and Hardcore belts. He was also a tag-team champion.

Former girlfriend and WWE Diva Kelly Kelly, whose real name is Barbara Blank, has just posted the following message on her MySpace page: "You
were my world ... my best friend the one I always ran to ... You were
always there for me ... what happened to our plan ...Why did God take you away from me ... my heart is always with you and you only ... I know you're in heaven watching over me now my angel ..."

HERE IS ANDREW MARTINS LAST MYSPACE BLOG ENTRY

Hey all! I just got back from Tokoyo Japan. I have been to Japan several times but this was by far the best trip there for a number of reasons. First I must thank Mr. Aso who treated me beyond first class and is a total gentleman as well as a great human being himself. My trip there was first class all the way. Thanks to Mr. Ena for making my flight the best flight I had ever been on. Mr. Aso flew me first class on United airlines who I must thank the ladies on board, who kept feeding me steak and chicken every two hours. It ended up being about a 24 hour travel day. When I landed I was greeted by Mr. Yabe another kind and stand up man. We chatted for a bit and waited for Vader. For those of you who do not know Leon (Vader) he is a total gentleman. I met Leon about ten years ago when I was training at Brets house he was kind to me then and was nothing but a gentleman to me now and we became good friends on this trip. Leon is a stand up guy and I want to thank him as well for a wonderfull trip. Mr. Aso put us up in the Keio Plaza hotel which is one of the nicest hotels in tokoyo. I want to thank Mr.Tiger Kihara who is one of the funniest guys I have met and a master at wrestling impressions and kept me laughing the whole time. Thanks to Golds gym who took great care of me there. I worked my first match with Lance Hoyt. Lance is green but has a lot of promise and under the right guidance can have a great match because he is a good athlete. He needs to be in the WWE were I think he could learn and reach full potential...thanks Lance. My second match was with a Japanese shooter named Nagai{hopefully I spelled that right} A totally diferant style but we had a great match together. He works almost as stiff as I do...lol. I was very humbled by the reception from the Japanese fans. The Japanese people are so respectfull you can't help but love it there. I loved Japan for so many reasons and hope to makee it my wrestling home. Japan is so beautifull and full of things to do, I could see myself living there it was that much fun. Thanks again to Mr. Aso your a real gentleman and number one in my books. On March 16th, I will be heading to Europe for two weeks in France, Sweden and Belgum. This is with the crew from Ireland. These guys hold a special place in my heart because they stuck by me when I was going thru some hard times and we all ended up becoming good friends. Great guys and fantastic people to work for, from Martin, to Mick, Joe, Jamie, Grant, Patty, Justin Shape, Lizzy, Anne, Ken, the whole crew are just great and I'm looking forward to this trip. That's all for now..talk to you soon Andrew

  • Former WWE wrestler found dead in parking lot

    source: PWInsider.com

Steve Bradley, who worked a number of dark matches for WWE in the late 1990s and early 2000s was found dead this morning in a parking lot across the street from a where he once operated a pro wrestling school in Manchester, New Hampshire. The former WWE developmental wrestler was 32 years old.

Bradley started wrestling in 1991 when he was 15 or 16 years old around the east coast. In late 1998, he signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to their developmental camp at Power Pro Wrestling in Memphis, Tennessee. Kurt Angle was signed at the same time and the two feuded over the Power Pro Wrestling Championship, which was voted "Underrated Feud of the Year" by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Bradley was actually the first wrestler to defeat Kurt Angle via pinfall.

In 1999, Bradley won the third annual ECWA Super 8 tournament, defeating current TNA wrestler Christopher "Curry Man" Daniels.

During his time under contract to WWE, Bradley worked for the Heartland Wrestling Association, Ohio Valley Wrestling and other promotions affiliated with WWE at the time, including IWA Puerto Rico and Memphis Championship Wrestling. During his time in MCW, Bradley won their heavyweight title, defeating the wrestler now known as R-Truth. Bradley worked a number of dark matches prior to WWE television tapings as well as house shows, but never made the main roster. His work was said to be similar to that of Rob Van Dam, and once he joined WWE in the summer of 2001, Bradley got lost in the shuffle. Bradley was ultimately released by WWE in the summer of 2002 during a talent purge.

Following his release from WWE, Bradley returned to the New England area and opened a wrestling school, Top Rope Wrestling Academy, which was shut down within the past six months.

Bradley dealt with personal issues over the years and was one of the former talents who took up WWE's offer of getting help within the past year.

Bradley's cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
