Went playing pool again last night. Was marginally better than I was a year ago! Possibly owing to a slightly stronger wrist. Couldn't decide if it was easier with or without my glasses on.

Tis waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early for Christmas yet. 23 December is maybe permissible for Christmas stuff, but no sooner.

Lol! I guess being completely boring by being born in England to British parents does have its advantages!!

I did once discover though that entitlement to British citizenship if you were born abroad comes only fom your dad - this was once explained to me by someone born in South Africa to a Dutch dad and British mum. She coudn't automatically get British citizenship even though her mum was British, but had it been her dad instead, there'd have been no probs.

But I do believe you are right - if you are born within the EU, you have automatic entitlement to live wherever in the EU. I did not need a visa on my year aborad even though I was in Belgium / Spain for an extended length of time because I have a passport from an EU country. Technically I shouldhave had a carte de séjour in Belgium, but didn't as the office in my commune screwed uo the application, but you need one if you are there for more than 3 months. I got round this one by leaving then reentering the country!!

I didn't move to London in the end. Got lost en route and landed up in Staffordshire instead.
