Sunday 26th April 2008: Small boat sprints
-Location:
North Shore auto mall @ south end of Fell Ave along waterfront trails & Harbour side place
North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
-Directions:
When entering North Van from Lions Gate Bridge stay on Marine Drive for 3km then go South on Fell Ave for ¼ km to waters edge.
-Race Description:
We hope to strengthen the local competition and to start off a great canoe season for all . The first two N.V.S. we have become known for our door prizes and this year will be no exception. You can expect a great door prize draw. And a chance at winning for every race you enter. Open to all ages, the race course is 500 meter sprints. Heats will be run at 15 min intervals. There will be 3 heats for all competitors, depending on time and number of entries.
(race day) April 26th @ 12 pm. Race grounds waterfront trails & Harbor side pl.
-Entry Fees: Fees
Early bird (before April 20) $12 paddlers Late $15 paddlers.
(all racers must have CORA membership)

Put simply, what you or any person says about me does not define who i am. All I have to worry about is myself and my well being, my family, and my canoe club. If you choose to dwell upon my life and any gossip I can only suggest to keep doing so, because it does not affect me or my identity. Life is too short for drama & gossip.

Yaaa 5 star we did good and we all know that we should have 1st on both races BUT I guess their rules only Applied TO 5 STAR . Good job 5 star we all were awesome out there and we r # 1 LOL

Shann heard someone down the beach yelling ''GIVE SOMEONE ELSE THE HORN!!!" It was soooo stupid though! "whoever" it was, was only telling certain canoes to back up. Ugh - whatever. Still didn't help whoever they were trying to help
Agreed lacey! But rumour has it that our five star ladies only got first place on saturday because we 'tryed' aha
guess you gotta do what you gotta do to make yourself feel better & convince yourself
