I thought to myself as we drove up the western highway to queensland, only 11 more hours of this and I will be saved from my sisteres constant talking, which in fact gave me the worst migrain ever. The trip up was so tiresome, and with the constant talking from my sisters about what they will do when we get there was so overwhelming. After what seemed like a life time when hit a problem from the constant down poors qld had been having, 40 mins out of the gold coast the road was flooded, making us do little u turns every where. But finally, dad thought sense and we headed up to Brissy instead, which really only added an extra 1 and a half to our already long journey so it was no worries really.
We arrived at a relaxing tropical looking resort where we set up camp, no joke it was a litteral tent because my sisters wanted to rough it in a tent. Camping was the worst experience of my life (Which I would do again) even though we were right next to the toliets and showers. Once something had a taste for you it never stopped, as dylan found out. after two days of shopping and swimming, i met one of my awesomest buddies ever. poor dyln had to make his way from brissy on a train down to th gold coast. which i appologise for and also for making him wait like for ever until we acually found where we were going. No thanks to the silly gps which gave us the longest possible way ever to go. dylan spent three days with my family, dad, edwina and claudia. I tink he went away mad, having to put up with eddy and claud oh and I cant forget having to put up with me... I am utterly sorry for having to put him though what he did on the second night he was there, even though i at first found it so funny, but I later see that frills arnt meant for guys .. Well there really arnt enough words to describe him, he is Sugar and spice and all things nice.. He definatley made my holidays...
Then the next day we packed up and headed home, now that road back through the west was long boring and dry, eddy never was quiet not for even a second, so hot as well especially when we hit the hottest spot, the air cooler decided it wanted a break for about 30 mins.
