will direct and choreograph LYT members and their contemporaries from the Eastern European communites in Limerick.
The mixed group will spend the summer devising and rehearsing a dynamic performance of dance, theatre, film and
music based on Ireland as a foreign country. With a specially commissioned score by Edgars Lipors (LV).
PERFORMERS: LYT members + participants aged 16-23 from former Soviet Bloc / Former Yugoslav countries.

Seeking Actors, Dancers, Musicians…
The Odyssey Project, Summer 2008. Limerick Youth Theatre is looking for performers from the former Eastern Bloc and Former Yugoslav countries to create an original piece of Dance-Theatre on a theme of immigration, to be staged at the Belltable Arts Centre, August 25th – 30th 2008. LYT is looking for participants aged 16-23 to express their experience of living in Ireland. Creativity is more important than fluent English or previous experience! Rehearsals will take place on a part-time basis from July 14th – August 25th. Participation is free.

Projekt Odyssey, Lato 2008. Limerick Youth Theatre poszukuje artystów z dawnych Wschodnich Bloków oraz z Jugosławii do tworzenia originalnych kawałków taneczno-teatralnych w drużynie emigrantów w Centrum Sztuk Belltable, Sierpień 25-30.2008.
LYT poszukuje współuczestników w wieku od 16-tego do 23-go roku życia z doświadczeniem na temat życia w Irlandii. Kreatywnośc jest ważniejsza od zaawansowanego angielskiego oraz poprzednich doświadczeń! Częściowe korepetycje będą udzielanie od 14 lipca do 25 Sierpna. Uczestnictwo jest darmowe.

We Won!!
LYT was recently given an award for innovation in fields of damatic theatre...or something like that.Anyway it was awarded by "Hollywood" actor Patrick Bergin from the Unfringed judges.
