(Trust me, there are hundreds more where they came from)

A real soap opera!
This is hilarious. It’s an exchange between a guy staying in a London hotel and the staff of the hotel. The letters were sent to The Sunday Times.

Dear Maid,
Please do not leave any more of those little bars of soap in my bathroom since I have brought my own bath-sized Imperial Leather. Please remove the six unopened little bars from the shelf under the medicine chest and another three in the shower soap dish.
They are in my way.

Dear Room 635,
I am not your regular maid. She will be back tomorrow, Thursday, from her day off. I took the 3 hotel soaps out of the shower soap dish as you requested.
The 6 bars on your shelf I took out of your way and put on top of your Kleenex dispenser in case you should change your mind. This leaves only the 3 bars I left today.
My instructions from the management are to leave 3 soaps daily. I hope this is satisfactory.

When I got back to my room this evening, found you had added 3 little Camays to the shelf under my medicine cabinet.
I am going to be here in the hotel for two weeks and have brought my own bath-size Imperial Leather, so I won’t need those 6 little Camays, which are on the shelf. They are in my way when shaving, brushing teeth, etc.

It is impossible to contact you by phone since I leave the hotel for business at 7:45 AM and don’t get back before 5:30 or 6PM. That’s the reason I called Mr. Kensedder last night. You were already off duty.
I only asked Mr. Kensedder if he could do anything about those little bars of soap. The new maid you assigned me must have thought I was a new check in today, since she left another 3 bars of hotel soap in my medicine cabinet, along with her regular delivery of 3 bars on the Bathroom shelf.
In just 5 days here I have accumulated 24 little bars of soap.
Why are you doing this to me?

Don't concentrate on the fact that that probably doesn't make any anatomical sense, use your imagination and ca va bien.. College is pretty deadly atm to be honest-French Society is absolutely booming as you've no doubt heard.. we're on our way now to our fourth event.. if I remember correctly that's about three more than they had last year (iceskating does NOT count) The apartment is also awesome, welcome party tomorrow night looking forward to that majorly.. Quoi d'autre... French is pretty crap all the same though, we've Christine this year and I dunno..just not reli feeling the love. but sur..

INCREDIBLE!! so me and aoife threw pants on and started running!! When we came to city Hall...my...ino words!! People dancing in the streets, banging pots, signs everyone, chanting!! ILOOPERS!! We ran the street with a wild mob for two hours chanting!! EPIC!!! HEEEEE HEEE!! hows all in the land of baguette and legs frogs??

Our timetables are pretty crap in that we always seem to be coming or going from a French lecture or else rushing to finish some homework so even now we never get to see the straight bcls..pretty shit actually! so to think that when we come back next year they'll be gone is a bit depressing!
Do you hang out mostly with ucc people or other irish like dublin etc? Yeah I think Sean was mentioning something about going over actually! I don't know if I'll be able to afford it though. Are you coming home for Worlds? I'll have to get you at some stage for a catchup..

It was her mis-term so she decided to come home and see everybody! Ya he's on placement for the year, working in the hospital in the labs or something to that effect! handed in two assignments this morning so whoop whoop!

Wuhu! C'est cool! That's good to hear, fluency will come in time.. You still have beaucoup de temps there and if you understand everything in lectures already then you're practically halfway there. Yup, just hoping now that my results were sufficient...42% in criminal won't be putting me on that plane if most of my class got 2.1s aswell...I must find out where I came in my class actually. Still, fingers crossed
There's not much news over here. Actually I already have facebook, u should look me up! Although I don't use it very often, but I'm sure I could make an exception!
I dip in and out of excitement about France. Sometimes I can't wait to go, other times I really don't want to. Do you feel out of the loop a bit? Have you made lots of new friends or is there a big Irish group?
Working ALL the jazz weekend and playing the Wii during my spare time! That's all my news

Between yourself and Niall now that night you gave us alot of laughs! He's in Limerick actually this year, he's just living down the road from us. Its gas! The rain is actually holding off for now anyways... its still terribly cold though!
