FINAL COUNTDOWN TO MODIFIED MOTORS LIVE CORK
Modified Motors Live Cork is just around the corner and things are starting to fill up quickly. All of Ireland’s leading Websites and Owners club’s have secured their places at the show along with some new clubstands that will be displaying for the first time. Car entries are well over 100 at the moment with more coming in everyday.
Hot news just off the press is that show goers will be able to play the new Need For Speed Shift game from EA at the show. Test yourself against friends and the clock on the day to see who can get the best times in the “Need For Speed Challenge”. This will be the first time gamers will get a chance to play the game in Ireland.
If that was not enough action for you the Prodrift Series has promised to bring its best drivers to Cork including some local heroes. The purpose built Live Action Arena will see the best drift action show ahead of Prodrift returning to Cork for its season finale in September. The Opposite Lock Live Action Display Team will be returning to Modified Motors Live after a hugely successful tour of the Uk and Ireland exciting fans at every stop. We have been told to expect the best performance to date for the people of Cork. Mix all this up with some of the hottest ladies performing during our Live Shows to keep you amused.
Entries are also hotting up for our car competitions. From “Best of Show’ to “Best Club Stand” there are plenty of opportunities to drive away with the silverware. Expect to see some of the best cars from around the country battle for the trophies.

Prodrift Punchestown. 30-31st May 2009
Professional drifting will make its highly anticipated return to Punchestown Racecourse on 30-31 May 2009 with Prodrift Punchestown.
Hotwire Media and Regency Entertainment present Prodrift Punchestown, an action packed two day event featuring some of the best drifters from across Europe competing in two major championships.
Competing on a custom built drift track that will feature fast and flowing bends, drift fans will have an opportunity to see the best drifting talent from the UK, Ireland and Europe battle door to door at close range.
Saturday will feature Round 2 of the Prodrift Irish Championship containing all of Ireland's best drifters competing for national championship glory. With amateur, semi-pro and pro categories all running back to back non-stop drift action for the whole day is guaranteed.
Sunday will see Europe's best drivers competing in Round 2 of the Prodrift Super Series, a championship which features only the best drivers & teams from Ireland, the UK and Europe driving some of the most extreme cars of any motorsport. This really is an event not to be missed!
Also included in the weekend schedule is a selection of other motorsport demonstrations, family and children’s entertainment, giveaways, prizes and opportunities to get up close and meet Europe’s best drifters for photographs and autographs.
Prodrift Punchestown is open from 10.00am Saturday and Sunday. Admission on the gate is €20 for adults, €12 for under 12s, €50 for family, €35 for adults weekend and €20 for under 12s weekend.
