    • Whatever happened to class!

      The women I most admire stand out as not only icons of glamour, put also of sophisication and class. Marilyn Monroe, Peggy Lee, Nina Simone, Eartha Kitt and Lauren Bacall. They were (and still are in some cases) lusted over by every man and admired by every woman but remained classy, sassy and demour. But today this is impossible. Celebrities, will imitate a classic star, then be found coked out of their skull or dead from chocking on thier own vomit...hardly demour. Britney shaves her head and cant get out of a car without showing us her growler and Paris Hilton is in a porn video. Audrey Hepburn would turn in her grave. Marilyn Monroe posed for playboy, was addicted to perscription pills, and died from an (accidental) overdose, but what do we remember her for? Legendary screen performances and her grace and beauty. How many celebrities can we say that about today?
      I think the problem basically is, that those women were and are stars, now and forever. There is a huge cassim of a difference between a celebrity and a star. Im waiting for one to come along.
