I need a hobby
i need a new hobby other than playing video games (which im already very good at).
i've tried art, drawing, painting, sketching, but its like im dyslexic when it comes to art. i can see in my mind all the details of the image i want to create, i can see in my mind the strokes and movements my hands need to make to recreate the image on the paper, but my hands just cant follow the instructions that my brain is sending them.
ive tried guitar, but my fingers are too short and podgy to play chords. no matter what way i hold or position my hands my fingers are always stopping the string above or below from being played. i have thought about bass, strings being further apart, but given that i cant afford one its a bit on the expensive side to find out whether i'll still have the issue with it.
i used to be pretty good on the drums but sold my kit when i moved up to belfast. and now i cant afford a new one and wouldnt have anywhere to put it or play it even if i could.
i've tried photography, but with me not being able to drive anywhere its a pain in the ass to get out and about to find things to study.
at the minute im looking into learning new languages, just for the sake of having something to do in the evenings other than playing games, cycling or going to the gym. but i need something fun to do.
so suggestions are being welcomed to kill the monotony of my life.
