Hi, my name is Colin, which is official, just in case you didn’t catch it the first time you read my profile. I have what can be only described as an interesting personality as I have Asperger syndrome.

I wouldn't bore you with the full details of what Aspergers is, but look it up in google and I’m sure you'll realise you've probably met or even know someone with asperger's.

Though I am in fact registered as blind or legally blind (as apposed to what? Being illegally blind?) anyway I digress.. I do have residual sight and I love taking pictures with a digital camera and adding them to this site, so keep looking on this page.
Music
My taste in music is very wide, basically anything other then rap and commercial rubbish pumped out by the music industry. I mostly listen to trance but I’ll quite happily listen to classical music; I’ll even compose my own variations on classical genres on a keyboard.
Films
I’ve only recently gotten into going to the cinema but I’ve been turned into a Harry Potter fan, But I like anything funny, silly, things like Ice age or Monster Houseor, or something with good special effects like War of the World. I also like spoof films so things like Shawn of the Dead is really funny.
Sports
Anything with a set of wheels and an engine or NOZ! F1, Super bikes, Turing Cars, I’ve started getting into Japanese car drifting... and you though I was gonna say football (haha)
Scared Of
Losing friends, if you know anything about Aspergers you’d already know we have a hard enough time finding friends and then trying to keep them. But the friends I have I think of as unrelated brothers and sisters. So even small silly arguments (and they do come up from time to time) can really be upsetting.
Happiest When
The total reverse to what I’m scared of I guess, I love being with my friends, making new friends and making friends old and new laugh, it makes me feel I actually have something to offer others.

So Please, please, please add me as your friend... You can never have too many friends.
I have Three maxims in my life I try to live by
1) It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
2) You can make 100 friends in one year, but you only make one good friend in 100 years.
3) Life is like a game of chess, you must think first before you move."

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
