My name is Gwen Cooper, I used to be a police officer but now I work for torchwood. I stumbled across torchwood when I was investigating a murder scene and the team showed up.I stayed around to see what happened and my curiosity got the better of me. Suzie Costello who worked there tried to kill me but ended up getting caught by jack and killing herself. Jack then offered me the job and I now spend my time helping rid Cardiff of aliens and alien technology. Since then we have encountered things you would not believe..aliens from other worlds..creatures from other dimensions..all these things are helping us...we are arming the human race against he future....the 21st century is when everything changes.....TORCHWOOD is ready!

      Jackie wandered through the newly built Torchwood Hub, 16 years after it had been blown up. She was helping her mother, Gwen Cooper, with the work that needed doing. She walked down a set of stairs and toward the door, walking out into the bright, sunny weather of Cardiff. Her knee-length pale blue dress flowing a little in the light breeze as it played with her hair. She walked over by the Bay and leaned on the railings.
