About Me
In 2001, at the age of 16 I got my first set of decks for Christmas and from there on in I have been passionate about dance music and the skills involved when mixing and using the equipment available.
About Me
For the past 7 years, I have been teaching myself through watching my mentors, practicing at any given moment and going to underground nightclubs throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland. With this, I have grown to love the different styles of music that branch off the house genre and can say my style has developed into dirty electro house, ranging from deep house to techno.
About Me
Originally from North Belfast, I am currently studying at the University of Ulster, Coleraine and have been living in Portstewart for the past 5 years. During these time I have worked in Traks Nightclub which has given me an insight on how a nightclub works from behind the scenes. Also, within the university I have built up alliances with the clubs and societies for example the rugby club and surf club, so they have music for their nights.
About Me
In September 2007, myself and two others helped set up the ‘DJ / Music Society’ whereby students from all different musical background could help develop their skills musically and help promote and organise different nights. 2008 has seen a bigger number of students turning out for meetings. Our first fund-raiser, a UV Party was a success with the night being a sell out and raising over £1200 for the society (after overheads).

Kellys 25th October 08 = 1st Place....... Guys im into the Northern Ireland final for the second year running. Guys this year in the COrona DJ Competition 07 i had a belter of a time with some fantastic result.

The Garrick - 3rd out of 4 DJs

Thompsons Garage - 2nd out of 8 DJs

Duke of York - 3rd out of 8 DJs

Potthouse - 3rd out of 7 DJs

Would like to thank everyone who came to support me and I have to congratulate my best mate and DJing partner Darren aka MystaMuzik for qualifying to the Northern Ireland finals in Yello on 22nd September 07

Hopefully i will be there with him due to getting a wild card with second place (meaning the highest out of the heats will get through to the finals in Yello...)

2nd best in Northern Ireland Corona DJ Competition 07

Came 2nd in Northern Irelnad on Sat 22nd Sept in the Corona DJ comp in Mynt. This was out o 8 DJs.

When called up to the decks i was on second. Got cued up and ended up the needle broke on my second tune. By this time i had started to freek out abit but keep putting EFX through the tune i was able to play.

The judges were going to let me go at the the end but i turned round and said, "if ya get a needle quick enough i will start again. Lucky enough i had brought a load of records down with me. Second time round i got started.


By the time they were going to call out the 2 people to have a "play-off" i was well juiced. I heard the judge say in alphabetical order, "Al-J and Marky" i nearly died. Got up to were the decks, turned to Kev Trainer and said, "I'm FUCKED!". He ended up pushing me up into the DJ box.

After both of us had played i didnt care if i had won or not. I WAS BLOCKED lol
