Murie Performs U-Turn
The club have announced that defender David Murie has signed for next season, just a few weeks after being told he had no future at the club.
Both David Murie and John Ward were released several weeks ago but the club have gone against their decision to let Murie leave.
If the club can decide to bring Murie back, then fingers crossed they can do the same for Ward as he is an excellent defender at this level.
Still no word on Darren Smith signing for anyone yet, stay please?0 Comments 206 weeks

City To Take On Elgin Twice!
Brechin have been paired with 3rd division outfit Elgin City in BOTH the Alba Challenge Cup and Co-orporative Insurance Cup 1st Round.
The Challenge Cup tie will be played at Borough Briggs on the 25th July with a 3:00pm kick off, this will be the first competitive game of the season.
Then it'll be Elgin's turn to do the travelling as they visit Glebe Park the following Saturday (1st August) for the first round of the League Cup.
Both cup ties will be played before the league season starts on 8th April.
The two ties will give City an ideal opportunity to advance to the next round of both cups. Elgin City struggled badly last season and finished bottom of the pile of the 3rd division last season. They could face eviction from the SFL if they finish bottom yet again this season.0 Comments 207 weeks

Rallying Call To Fans
As most of you will already be aware, City take on Ayr United at the Glebe tomorrow night (Wednesday) for the first leg of the play-off semi finals. All fans are being urged to turn up tomorrow night and get behind the team as this is a massive chance for Brechin go gain promotion to the first division. It doesn't matter whether you are a regular or not, every person through the gate counts not only as support, but will also generate more income for the club.
The club are expecting approximately 500 fans up from Ayr so we don't want to be outnumbered at our own ground. It is hugely important that City get a result tomorrow as the second leg down at Ayr on Saturday is going to be extremely difficult as Ayr are unbeaten at home all season.
If you are going to the game try and bring as many of your family/mates along as possible and try and boost the support, the team deserves your backing after a successful season despite losing our manager, our top scorer and some of our better players throughout the campaign.
The game kicks off at 7:45pm and admission prices are £10 for adults and £5 for Juveniles.
SEE YOU THERE!0 Comments 210 weeks
