Lisa Pin-Up, dj, producer extraordinaire, on the decks she’s a legend, known for her skilful mixing, anthem sounds and the ability to turn any dancefloor into a seething frenzy. Off the decks she is a prolific producer, notching up an impressive catalogue of 12” singles for leading dance labels, mixed numerous compilations for companies such as Warner and BMG- some receiving gold discs for their sales, and has released her very own artist album entitled ‘biggest baddest mutha’ consisting of all her own productions through the prestigious dance label-Nukleuz. Throughout her time in the dance industry Lisa has also set up three of her own record labels, Rock Hard recordings, cuttin Soundz with the third only just launched called Pin-Up records where all the tracks will be exclusively produced by Lisa herself. Testament to her popularity Lisa continues to play to thousands of clubbers week in week out, and with a career spanning over 10 years Lisa is one of the few select djs that can genuinely be described as a household name.
Pin-Up by name, Pin-Up by nature, we regularly see Lisa gracing the front covers and the pages of music and fashion magazines. With just about features in every dance magazine going, featuring in editorial publications like Esquire & Loaded, M8 magazine has just run a huge feature on Lisa also releasing a special mix CD by herself as their cover mount that has had praise from fans all across the country. Lisa has also graced the airways with mixes being broadcast on Radio 1, Galaxy and Vibe FM, with more mixes planned for later on in the year. With roof-raising sets at every leading club event and numerous festivals in the months ahead, Lisa has truly acquired global status, both on the back of her production work and extensive djing schedule around the world.

Production
Lisa continues to set the pace on the production front as well, turning out more tracks on Nukleuz and other leading labels than virtually any other dj/producer in hard dance over the years. She’s just taken her studio skills onto another level, adding her own vocals on her latest release ‘slave to your love’ that’s been getting widespread support from A list djs and press alike with Mixmag saying “what’s not to love about Lisa? Looks, charm and of course the voice!” and dj Magazine “delivers good time vibes and bags of energy to the dancefloor!” Hot on the heels of this Nukleuz release will be Lisa’s mix album released through Tidy trax where her set was recorded live at The Weekender 9, hitting the record shelves in April.

Lisa’s History
Born in the East End of London, Lisa was a bit of a wild child growing up often playing truant to stay out clubbing all night. Lisa left school and went through a succession of jobs before embarking on a modelling career, but this was not her true love and as Lisa’s obsession with the club scene grew, her career path lead her back to London’s night life. It was here that Lisa fell for the tunes that would lead her to purchase some decks, mix a tape, and thanks to Pushca gave her first residency 1996. Lisa then made her mark in clubland with a long running and highly successful residency at Freedom @ Bagleys flim studios in London and Miss Moneypennys in Birmingham in the late nineties. By now Lisa’s career had really taken off and so too was her popularity, due in part to her unique style of DJing, and her ability to put on show stopping performances. Even though Lisa has now forgotten her modelling career and is a respected Dj and producer, Lisa was still noticed for her glamorous looks by Loaded magazine who voted her number 54 in their top 100 babes feature.

Today Lisa Pin-up has become one of the hottest and most in-demand DJs on the dance scene, and has achieved enviable success as one of the top female djs in the World and Lisa was even voted by BBM one of Irelands top dance magazines, as the best visiting female dj to hit their shores.
So far Lisa h
