- Where to begin? Well for anyone who remembers me from highschool, it might interest you to know that I CUT MY HAIR!!! That's right. I'm normal now...
I'm currently living in northern England on a gap year programme at a prep-school boarding house. I'm loving working with the kids and being a big sister to the girls in particular. They're all into music, which suits me to the ground, and they're seriously talented students!
I don't really know what I want to do long term but I've got about a million long term goals. I'm going to speak fluent Spanish one day and I'd like to be a famous singer/entertainer. Money would be nice, but it's not the end of the world.
Pero estoy yo. Hasta la vista!
- Music
- I'm beginning to think U2 have probably got the most songs that I like, out of any band or individual. I tend not to like more than one or two songs from each artist. Specific songs include Straight Lines, Shadow of the Day, Deciphering Me, Chasing Cars, The Little Things and One Tree Hill.
- Films
- The Lord of the Rings (trilogy), Harry Potter (series), Pirates of the Caribbean, Love Actually, Matilda, The Lion King, Shrek 1 & 2 (not so much 3 though).
- Sports
- Soccer, tennis and table-tennis are sports I can play adequately. Sportspeople I admire include Sarah Ulmer, Adine Wilson and Barbara Kendall. As sports I suck at but love all the same; badminton, volleyball, petanque. Oh and I played La Crosse... once.
- Scared Of
- I fear nothing. Nah, I guess I'm not a big fan of physical pain. Used to be afraid of death, but not really now that I know we can stick around afterward. 8 months working at a haunted house has shown me this. I certainly don't live in fear of anything but I'm sure some situations would draw it out of me...
- Happiest When
- Singing, playing soccer, chatting with friends or family, playing stupid games at the beach or on the lawn, celebrating Christmas - decorating the tree etc, watching awesome movies, finished exams or other challenges, walking in calm drizzly rain, walking in unexplored territory (either in bushes when it's raining or parks/roads when it's really warm and sunny)
- Food!!
- I could go on forever on this subject - strawberries, nectarines, passionfruit, pineapple, cherries or almost any other fruit. Roast lamb, lasagne and other pasta, fresh bread (cheese buns and Vogels/Burgen bread especially), Chicken Teriyaki Subway sandwiches. In the past I would have launched into my far more extensive list but I think I come off better if I stop before that. Oh but I must recommend Rocky Road from the Pukekohe Bakery (rock on my wonderful food-providing bakery friends).

What's new with me?? I'm 19 now. I wasn't a week ago. And I have a sister (in-law). I didn't a week ago. I turned 19 and gained a sister-in-law on the same day actually. That's pretty much the extent of my news. I'm still working at Professionals. Just as I was a week ago... Sigh. And I'm waiting to find out whether I get accepted for an overseas tutoring programme for gap students, in a boarding school in England. They get about 600 applicants a year and take 150-200, and distribute them across a large number of prep and secondary schools. Free board and food. A weekly allowance. Heaps of holidays. Yo estoy en Wellington, en mi segundo año en la universidad. Hace muy frío aquí, no me gusta mucho el tiempo, y a veces espero que quedé en Auckland para estudiar. Vivo con mi novio de seis meses, y estudio español y ingles. Está bien, mas o menos, pero creo que en un gasto de tiempo, porque ahora quiero ser una profesora en una escuela primaria...sin embargo, terminaré mis estudios aquí en el fin del año próximo. Solo un año...

Hiya. As u are probably aware I don't come on bebo very often. Yes Im alive, lol. Scott has just moved in with us - he has soooooo much crap! We have spent the last couple of weeks sorting and unpacking. Im on holiday from tech for a few weeks, just waiting for my results. Im going to have to decide what paper to do next semester pretty soon, but there are so many choices. Works good. Hows england treating ya? I listened to your cd again yesterday, its so good.

lol yes I was on bebo on Friday night... just like tonight! haha. Ive chilled out a lot this year. I think I got too old to party hard. Also I just went to the Gold Coast for a holiday so I needed to save for that. Tonight I'm studying for exams. Arent I good! lol.
