today was kind of tough
i felt strained, and down on my luck
i thought of you
i didn't bow my head
instead
i looked up too the skies
and just knew that you were there helping me through
i said a prayer aloud,
I asked that i could be just half the person
you used to be, the one left to memories....
to have your courage, and your strength
to laugh when it hurts... to have dignity
and most of all, to be content with what i have
and who i am....to love the people in my life
and to be greatful for everything that IS today!!
if i can accomplish this, then i have accomplished GREATNESS!!!
