- Monty Python, or The Pythons, is the collective name of the creators of Monty Python's Flying Circus, a British television comedy sketch show that first aired on the BBC on 5 October 1969. A total of 45 episodes were made over four series (the last of which dropped the 'Flying Circus' from the title and thus was also called Monty Python). However, the Python phenomenon developed from the original television series into something much greater, in scope and impact; it spawned touring stage shows, four films, numerous albums, several books and a spin-off stage musical as well as launching the members on to individual stardom.

A Night with Michael Palin - '20 Years of Travelling, 40 Years of Jokes'0 Replys 32 weeks
On Friday 26th June (UN day in support of victims of torture) Michael Palin will host a one man show at the indigO2 in aid of the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture.
It’s hard to catch Michael live, and even harder to get the chance to meet him in person... but we’ve got the holy grail! You can do both if you buy tickets for the after show party.
