You've wanted it! You've asked for it! It's finally here! The new MacBook Pro from Apple! haha... jk! What I'm really here to tell you about is the new Live Skillet DVD! (I'm pretty impressed with my cleverness... Haha.) Our Comatose tour was an amazing time and we wanted to give you all a chance to take it home with you. So check it out! It's way cool! We've really enjoyed having some time off the last few weeks. It's been a busy year for us. Winterjam, Comatose Tour, summer festivals... You all made it a great year. So thank you for that! You're the reason that we had such a good year!

We are right at the beginning of working on a new record. The record will be called... jk. We have no idea what it's gonna be called (I dunno why I think it's funny to make those jokes.. ) Anyways! Please be praying for us, it's a long process that we are just beginning. John's been working very hard at preparing the songs. We've spent a while working on pre-production demoing the songs out so we can get a rough idea of what the songs will be like. It's coming along. I'm very excited to record. It's been almost 3 years for us!

One of the things that we will be introducing that we're REALLY excited about is the Skillet Live Webcam. THAT'S RIGHT! You will be able to watch and listen in to us making the record.... as we make it! I don't think I've heard of any other bands doing this. Very cool! Check it out!

I feel I have to say at least something about whats' been going on in the world of politics and our economy. I won't go into any details or share any of my views, but I just want to encourage everyone to be in prayer. Pray for our nation, that it would be honoring to God. Pray for our potential leaders and our current leaders that they would have wisdom in leading our nation. Pray for God's light to be seen, that amidst the craziness of everything going on, there would be a light of hope and peace shining through. I've been watching the news a lot lately and I can only imagine how easy it is for people to become afraid of what "could happen". What we need to remember is there is a God who is in control. No matter what government official is in charge. No matter what drop or bailout is going on in the economy. We can know a deep peace that transcends all understanding.

That's the latest with us! Keep checking back for more of our video blogs. Now that I have a new laptop I will be more consistent with those videos! Woohoo!
