So the name's Simon, but everyone calls me Sy. I live in Edinburgh and as much as I love this city, I'm sick to death of it, well mostly the people in it.
I try to take everything with a bit of humour, but that kinda conflicts with the fact that I'm cynical, bitter, sarcastic and brutally honest at times. I have no time for liars and fakes, people who can't be themselves or spend their lives hiding the truth from others.
I'm wannabe filmmaker, and masquerade as a rock DJ . I like spending my time with friends, having a banterful drink, going to the cinema, writing, playing games or random wanders with friends. If you want to check out any of my films my youtube profile is here:

    • Flatmate Needed

      Hey guys, so my flatmate Greig is finally moving in with his girlfriend which means myself and Dave (Skull) need someone to fill his room.
      The room itself is decent sized with a single bed and wardrobes, though there is room for a double bed instead.
      Rent is £265 a month, electricity is done by powercard and comes to about £30 a month, Virgin Media (Which encompasses 20mb Broadband, Television and Phone line) is around £25 a month.

      The flat is on Restalrig Road South, just past Meadowbank Stadium, on the bus route of the 34 and 19 and about a 20 min walk from the city centre.

      If anyone's interested give us a messege, we'll need someone to move in before the end of March.

    • Espionage

      Alright guys and guyettes...I'm gonna be DJing the bottom bar of Espionage - enter from the cowgate - on Sunday night. Gonna be opening the night at 6pm with live bands jonestown mind and DC-79 (AC/DC) tribute band then handling the decks the rest of the night afterwards.
      Drinks are 2 quid each and I'm gonna be playing a mixture of old and new rock.
      Come on, come all, and this shall be a new venue for us all to have a good night in, but needs your support to continue, so lets rock this joint.
      Rock Radio are gonna be helping support it, it's set to be a big night.

      Ok so this competition seems a bit of a waste of time, considering they seem to have originally said there would be a public vote, then a judges vote and a final public vote for the winner.
      Anyway, turns out it was a judges pick of 5 then the public vote for the winner, and sadly I did not make the final 5. Thanks for the support anyway guys, think I'll keep my eyes out for better run competitions.
