Me, Myself, and I
Stage Craft Youth Theatre was established in Clonmel in September 1998. It was founded by, now, the company's Aritstic Director; Shane Dempsey. The company is currently being facilitated by Lisa O' Brien, who is also a past member of the company. Lisa is presently in her 3rd yr of studying in University College Cork. Lisa is majoring in Philosophy and Leann Duchas. Patricia O Meara is responsible for the new Film unit. Patricia holds an MA in Film and Media Studies. Aislinn Mc Cabe is our resident assistant director. Stage Craft is one of the largest Youth Theatres in Ireland and accommodates six different classes of many ages. The age group of the students ranges from 7-19 yrs. Stage Craft produces on average 7 full scale productions per year and runs hundreds of workshops on all aspects of theatre and film practise.
