The best way to entertain yourself is to listen to other people's phone conversations. So,I'm
coming up and this bloke gets on the train and he was like this angry looking sort of buisness
man. He had this face which was now contorted into being constantly unpleasant. You know when people are just so rude so many times, their face just becomes this angry and you look at them and you say he is NOT a nice person. So this guy gets out his phone and says "IAN" loudest i've ever heard anyone ever talk on a train, he went "IAN" everyone on the train just went "Wo, who's this Ian, what is happening?" And the other people on the other carriges hear this announcement about Ian, "Whats going on?" I think it was also one of those moments you know when a train comes from the opposite direction and everyone momentarily thinks your going to die and it goes 'zzzzwwwoom' and people say, "We're not dead, we're alright!" Why don't they warn you, why don't they come and say, "Ok your not going to die NOW-" zzzzwwwoom "AHHHHHHH!"

So he goes, "IAN, it's dad, I'm on train!" In the north you like to get to the heart of the sentence - Im on TRAIN! "Have you got homework? .... Geography... Right, do it and make it NEAT!" and then he hung up the phone. and i think there was this sheer dead feeling on the train of panic for Ian's wellbeing. What should happen? Should he smudge into the margin drawing his oxbo? We didn't know at this point! But then it sort of settled down, we carried on the train, just chilling out, and then after about 10 minutes he swore to himself, he wasn't even on the phone, he just went 'SHIT'! and everyone was like, "Was he on the phone? Is he on the phone?, are you mad, the man's insane!" He picked up the phone and again and went "IAN it's dad again, I've taken the wrong bloody train!" It was the most satisfying moment. "How you getting on with your geography? Finish it and I'll check it!" And he hung up the phone. This women just went "Excuse me love, your currently traveling in the wrong direction, and i think you need to concentrate more on your own geography, ALRIGHT?" A brilliant moment!
