- This is how we became what we are the ninja turtles
Splinter, our master, was formerly a human being, an honorable ninja master named Hamato Yoshi. Exiled from the ninja clan, our master moved to New York City, where he lived in the sewers.
Master returned one day from his explorations around New York to find us covered with a strange glowing ooze. It caused us – also master to be exposed - to become humanoid, while master - most recently exposed to sewer rats - became a humanoid rat. Our master adopted the four of us as his sons and trained us in the art of ninjitsu. He names us after his favorite Italian renaissance artists: Leonardo da Vinci (Leo), Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi (Donatello),Raffaello Sanzio (Raphael), and Michelangelo Buonarroti.
Our mission is defeat the evil shredder and save the world from evil
aka turtles got droped in sewers, got covered in glowing ooze stuff and became mutants

LEANARDO aka "the pimp" - The de facto leader of the Turtles, Leonardo is courageous, decisive, and a disciplined student of martial arts. As a strict adherent to Bushido, he has a very strong sense of honor and justice. He wears a blue mask and wields a pair of katana.
RAPHAEL aka mr aggro - The team "anti-hero", Raphael has an aggressive nature and seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. His personality can be alternately fierce, sarcastic, and full of angst. He wears a red mask and wields a pair of sai.
MICHELANGELO aka the kool one get hip people get hip - The easy-going and free-spirited Michelangelo. While he loves to read comics and eat pizza, this Turtle also has an adventurous side. He wears an orange mask and wields a pair of nunchaku.
DONATELLO la di da smarty pants - The brilliant scientist, inventor, and technology geek thus he wears the pruple mask. and has a stick as a stupid weapon
MASTER SPLINTER the rat!!!- The Turtles' sensei and adoptive father, Splinter is a mutant rat who learned the ways of ninjutsu from his own master.0 Comments 341 weeks

u do realise that spliter was never human he was yoshis pet rat and when shreder killed yoshi splinter fleed to the sewers where he found the turtles covered in oze he picked them up and got covered in it aswell that y he transformed
