- Ich über mich
- Belfast, circa 2006. Skies were grey, streets were crowded, the weather was predictably damp. Indie was everywhere.
Angsty teenagers all over the place were forgetting that everything sucked and were revelling in the simple joys of basic songs, meaningless lyrics and overtight jeans. It was a time when music was straightforward; soulless... stagnant. When 'alternative' was basically any indie that wasn't Snow Patrol.
Belfast, circa 2006, was a bad time for grunge.
Then, riding on a storm of feedback, distortion and black eyeliner came a sonic assault that hit as hard as a well-aimed fuzzbox to the groin.
The distilled essense of thrash on drums. A bassist only marginally taller than his instrument. A lead guitarist who, between his fringe and his instrument is so spiky that he is literally untouchable, and a singer with a silly-looking guitar and frankly lethal sideburns.
The world is doomed.
"We are... S R G!"
Epic Fail Guy: guitar, lead vox
Jonny Liberty: guitar
Rob A Bank: bass, backing vox
Wilson Plays Drums: drums

NEW TRACK
Hey to anyone who is reading this. Just got a new demo track online... Hope you like it. It's called 'Sell Out', and it's about how people who are in crap bands can get far by screwing people over and selling out their artistic and creative integrity to cater for the lowest common denominator; essentially, being rubbish and being popular, or rather getting popular for being rubbish.
That was a long sentance...
Anyway, this is something that we as a band feel strongly about, hence the song. We welcome any feedback.0 Kommentare 459 Tage

Battle of the Bands 08
As is custom after all the gigs we play, i just wanted to thank everybody who came down 2 the warehouse on friday for the coca cola blast beat battle of the bands. it was an amazing show for us, and immensly fun to play. we didnt win, but i must say that the gig turned out so well, and so many people came, that i dont relly care, as it was such an amazing gig thanks to the massive crowd we had there, that it was worth entering just for the chance to play such an awsome gig to such an awsome crowd of people. thanks again!
