~SATISFACTION WITH CHRIST~
First, there's Satisfaction with Christ. This may sound simple, but it's absolutely necessary if we're to be of use to God. We must be satisfied in Him, or else we'll be constantly thinking of ourselves and our personal needs.
Jesus said, "Whoever drinks of the wate that I shall give him will never thirst again. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life" (JOHN 4:14). A realationship with Christ satisfies, and the Holy Spirit is the key. Jesus also said, "If anyone thirst, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. "He satisfies! And John tells us that Jesus was speaking of "the spirit, whom, those believing in Him would receive" (JOHN 7:37-39). The Spirit is the One who applies in our life all that Christ accomplished on our behalf.
