- Changes are in the wind for our family..... We have decided to take up a job offer and move to Brisbane.... Its going to be an Adventure for me and the girls but we are looking forward to it....

Linkin Park at Vector Arena - Concert 3 ... Awesme
OK so I will fes up, of the 3 concerts, I habeen t recently. I was expecting this to be my least favourite, mostly because Im not as big a fan as I am of Snow Patrol and Tori, but hey I liked the band so I went, and WOW... What a show...
Link Park had so much energy and the crowd reciprocated. I couldnt sit down for the 2 hours they were on stage.... They played loads of old favorites hits like Crawling, Numb, One Step Closer and plenty form the latest album.... Minutes to Midnight.... For me the higlights were the finally "Bleed it Out" and One step closer... Chester was dancing and jumping and showed off his amazing turn of voice, going from gravelly screams to sweet lyric ina flick. MC Shinoda rapped up a storm and even went out into the sold out crowd to rap with some fans. The band was amazing and have soared up into my top few favouirte live acts... What a show...
I have to mention Chris Cornell... Soundgarden was a great band when I was a teenager and he sung some awesome songs from the past.. Audioslave is a great band of the recent and Cochise was his best song of the night. Chris Cornell still has it is an absolute pro and I would have paid to se him by himself.... Together Chris Cornell and Linkin Park put o what has to be the NZ rock fans night of the year....
Overall Awesome.. High Energy and my ears are still ringing and my throat is so sore from screaming.0 komentarzy 775 dni

Concert 2 - Tori Amos - Sydney Opera House
Well or those of you who don't know TORI, she a very quirky musician who has been making records for 15 years now. She is well known for her Piano and her slightly unusual lyrics. As an artist people say that yo either love her or don't get her. I have been a fan since i was a teenager and she put out her Little Earthquakes and Under the Pink albums. I was hoping that she would come to NZ for at least 1 concert but since sher didn't Sarah and I shot over to Sydney to see her and I'm glad we did. I knew the Opera House was the perfect venue for a Tori Amos concert. Having a grand piano as the central instrument for her music was what I expected, what I was not expecting was the rock band around her. Her act was very powerful and more dark than I was expecting.
Tori came out in character for a few songs, changed to herself played a great show with 2 encores and had the sold out Opera house on their feet applauding at the end of 2 hours. Sara is now a solid convert having seen the talent first hand, and I will definatley see her again.
Was it beteer tan Snow patrol? hard o say... his was more of an intimate experience, yet still with full volume. I enjoyed it a lot and looking back on the 2 concerts if I had to miss one I would miss snow patrol... sorry boys.0 komentarzy 791 dni

things in brisbane are the best! i really love it here and im going to find it hard going home. not sure exactly where il be, but il be studying so that should be good.. get into the books and stop playing haha. actually no, i wont stop playing.. you know me. anyways, say hi to the girls for me

Flight of the Conchords is hilarious. I tried to download their podcasts but my laptop is too old to play them properly. I saw their show for the first time last night and yeah, so hilarious.
