Ok, today is my second day on the Destiny. A cruise ship. For those of you who don´t know, I´m on a cruise around the canary islands and stuff. I´m currently writting this on a crappy keyboard (which hates the letter "E") in a science museum in las Palmas, Gran Ganaria. Some of you may know, I´ve ben here before, in fact I´ve been in this museum, maybe even this seat. Deja vu.


This ship is nice, the food is great and there are some really... intersting people on it. after this I´ll probably wander over and take a swim, the weather is GLORIOUS. we´re in port till 11:30 tonight, then we´re off to... somewhere else. I forget where.

But yeah, just thought Id log on whilst I´m not having to pay for it.

my verdict-

CONTROLLER
Lighter than the old one. Otherwise it is basically the same, but people who have played a PS2 a lot will notice subtle changes. The shoulder pads have changed shape, and are now softer and rougher, a bit like sharkskin. The upper ones are squarer, while the lower have become more like triggers. They are still basically buttons, but the swing up instead of pressing in. There is also less resistance on them. The analogue sticks are now made of the same material. The directional buttons and X, O etc are basically the same.

GRAPHICS
Very good. Very, very good, however not much better than a X-Box 360 and not really too far above a Wii. It is the best out of the three, though.

SPEED
Very good, but not much better than I'd expect from a next-gen console. Again, only a touch above te X-Box 360. It is quite far ahead of the Wii, howver. There is also a very good response time to the controller.

PRICE
Just don't go there. Way too much. And even at that Sony are making a loss. 30 games per PS3 are needed to make up the difference.

LOOK
S**t. It looks like a breadbin.

It was close between all of them, but I feel the Wii is better as a gaming machine, and the X-Box 360 is good as an affordable system for peple who want a little bit more.
