    • Australia zoo

      So we took a little trip to Australia oo today.. I'll be honest I didn't wanna even get out of the bed. (No change there then.) Delighted I did now though. The main attraction at Australia just happened to be Russel Crowe. I shit you not. We were walking along doin our usual touristy shit lookin at turtles and Crocs and the like when I walked passed a kids bouncy castle. I took a look up to see a man carrying a child out of there and took no notice but I looked again and kinda thought to myself he's the head off Russel Crowe.. I walked up to John and he said do you realise who you just walked passed.... 'Russel Crowe!?'. As I suspected it was him! And what really confirmed it was when an old man (who I suspect to be his Father) say "Russ do you want me to take the young one off ya?" Shit you can hardly go up to him and talk to him while he's carrying his kid. Damn! we'll just walk past and be polite. 10 Miutes later I started whingin.. "we should have got a picture.. No-ones gonna believe us." Just as my rant had ended we happened to bump into the same group of people again getting into a shuttle bus. He had no minders with him at all but now the Zoo security were leading him into the bus. He was picking up a buggy and loading it into the bus and talking to Terri Irwin (The late great Steve Irwins wife). We were the only people around apart from a few Zoo staff and Russell Crowes family. Unfortunately we didn't get a pic with him but he did wave to the 4 of us and we got a couple of pics of him. I'm sure John will have um up soon. I only got pics in my Phone. The quality on my phone isn't great either. Other than that The Zoo was a zoo and it was pretty cool. Steve Irwin is a legend and Crocs rule. :L

      Ok.... In Kuala Lumpur.. The bus we got was class. 5 hours of bliss except Phelers was sittin beside me doin my head in. The bus was air conditioned had massaging chairs and the headrests had little screens where they were showin casino royale. The scenery on the way was unreal. Forests and mountains everywhere. 'bet you theres loadsa snakes in there cheeks" Fuckin phelers. When we arrived to Kuala Lumpur it was pissin! The roads were floodin and we were tryin to find the hostel for a good hour. Iwas a small bit freaked coz we don't exactly blend in with the locals. Kuala Lumpur is quite run down. It's the complete opposite to Singapore really. Went out last night and had some laugh though. I was weary bout the place but seeing the nightlife changed that. Talk in a bit!

    • Phi-Phi etc...

      Not long back from a bit of Island hopping. Unreal!! We got up at 7 this morning.. Wasn't too bad as we were all wrecked and sleeping by 10 o'clock last night. Not like us at all but al the travelling is catching up with us.. Anyways the island hopping to Phi-Phi etc... We got picked up this morning by a mini bus and headed to some beach. From there we got a speed boat to an island and snorkled with fish and swam for a bit. We then got a big spread of food which was lovely. Onto the next Island then where we snorkled a bit more but the waters were much deeper. The water was so clear we could see to the bottom. The fish swim right up to ya aswell not a bother. On our way to the last island we stopped at a massive diving point. myself Boc and Blower were the only ones that volunteered To jump it. It looked low enough from the boat but when we got up there the nerves startin kickin in. Boc was the first to go. He blessed himself a couple of times before buildin up the courage to do it. Next up was blower He did a bit of a crazy leap but landed safely. Next up was me anyway... Not a hope. My legs wouldn't buge. I wanted to so badly but I couldn't. I value my life thank you very much.. The last Island was beautiful. Clear waters again.. We went for a little jungle trekk there and hung around the beach for a bit. I got a bit burnt on my shoulders. The sun didn't appear at all today but it still burnt me through the clouds. On the way back it started pissing out of the heavens. In a way it made the trip that bit better though. We've more activities booked for the next couple of days and then we'll be moving on to a different island altogether. I'll keep you posted on all the Happs anyway.
